Here I was, resting in between my husband's laps, using his left thigh for arm rest, while his other thigh formed a canopy over my head. He was on his phone why I rested my head on his hard abs belly, enjoying the natural breeze which was everywhere in the garden, the combined smell of the flowers.

It's been two weeks into December and spending time with my husband has been like living in paradise. He has been more patient, more loving and more tolerant of me since the interview. I loved the way he has been more attentive to me, and he has been trying to make up for the mistake he did that day when he tried to strangle me out of anger.

Even though I tell him, I've forgiven him, he still feels guilty whenever he sees the mark on my neck. No matter how much I wanted him to know that I was okay, he still didn't believe me.

"When last did you and Justin see each other?" My husband's voice suddenly said, cutting through my thoughts. I looked up at my husband while he looked down at me.

"I don't know. It should be over three months now. Why are you suddenly asking that?" I asked him, his stormy eyes not focusing on my face, that I know.

"He's been back into the country for more than two weeks now and I'm surprised he hasn't been here to say hi. I thought you were best friends with him". My husband replied, but he definitely wasn't looking at my face. I kept quiet for a while observing him more as he looked at my chest.

"What are you looking at, love?" I asked him, even though I knew where his eyes were balanced on.

"Nothing" He denied and looked back at his phone.  I smiled and continued looking at the magazine I was looking at before, smiling as I remembered last night.

Like I said, these two weeks has been more like living in paradise for I and my husband and these days, we haven't been successful in keeping our hands off each other.

"Maybe Justin has a lot of things to do. Besides, I'm married. He should know that we can't be as close as before". I replied my husband who only nodded in reply. Curious, I asked him, looking up to his face "What are you looking at on your phone that's making your attention to deviate from our discussion?"

"I'm looking at a friend's post. Which reminds me, next week Saturday is Christmas darling. Do you think we should organize a ball or a little party to celebrate it?" My husband asked.

I sat up and looked at him, his right leg resting on my left shoulder. "A Christmas ball at our place?... That's a wonderful idea, my love"

"Where do you think we should hold the ball?" He asked me.

"Not in our mansion, that's for sure". I replied him, picking up the magazine before rising to my feet.

"If not our Mansion, where-"

"Good afternoon, your highnesses" Mary greeted, interrupting my husband from what he wanted to say.

"Good afternoon, Mary. Any news?" I answered her, while my husband went back to scrolling his phone.

"Your highness, don't you think it's too cold to be dressed like this?" Mary asked, calling my attention to my dressing.

Winter was here already, and although it hasn't snowed for the past two weeks, the weather has been really low and cold and I was wearing a two piece lemon green bikini which had a bright real diamond jewelry in the middle.

Okay, I understand that my body is exposed to the cold but I have my reasons for wearing this. No need to remind me!

"Thank you, Mary, for calling her attention to it one more time. I told her but she wouldn't listen".  Dure said, in support to what Mary said.
