After her father remarries leaving he with more brothers than she can count, Jessica De Van has only one wish - to make it in the music world.
And who knows, maybe brothers can be good for some things?
The next day I wake up early so have a bath before getting ready, we had another non-uniform day as we are getting the results of the show. I got dressed into a black ballgown with black heels, a grey clutch and black diamond jewellery. I do my make up as silver eyes and red lips, I make sure my eyeliner is sharp and my eyelashes are long.

I walk downstairs and encounter my brothers looking smart in their black suits and my dad looking good in his 'I'm holding a beer so I'm pretty busy' apron.

"Good Morning Jess! Ready for the showcase today?" Draven asks me as I sit down.
"Ready as I'll ever be!" I reply as dad puts a plate of sausages, bacon and fruit in front of me "Thanks dad!" He smiles at me and sits down with his own plate.
"Cool." Draven replies and once everyone has finished we pile into the limos and go to school.
When we arrive at school we are shown into the gym where all of the acts from last night and the rest of the school are waiting. Soon the headmaster walks up to the lectern and begins to speak.
"Good morning everyone! Now it has come to my attention that I never revealed the prizes for the show. Now, every family gets $100 for entering but third place gets $150 per child performing, second gets $300 per performer and first gets $600 per performer, a trophy and gets to go to Hollywood and compete in America's Got Talent as a representative for the school." He paused for the exited whispers and murmurs.
"Now, third place goes to the Neverfield's!" I ran over to my best friends along with the rest of the group and celebrated with Katelynn and Isaac before they were called up to get their $300.
"Yes, congratulations Katelynn and Isaac Neverfield. Now, second place goes to the solo artist of Shannon Baverstock!" We all hugged the life out of Shan before she went to collect her $300.
"Congratulations Shannon Baverstock. Now, first place goes to the De Van family!" We were shocked into silence as we were hugged and congratulated before we went up to the stage to collect the trophy and getting a picture before going to recover our $14,400 and our plane tickets. We were going to see our friends again! The plane left in three days.
The party lasted until 10am the next day when we all passed out due to exhaustion and the alcohol.
