<Jessica POV>
The day is upon us. At eleven pm tonight I will board a plane to Arizona. And leave my life behind...
Anyway, I take a shower and do my hair into a messy top bun and get dressed into black joggers and a white t-shirt, we were only doing last minute packing today and sorting out our carry ons. I slip on some pumps and head downstairs.
"Morning." I greet as I slip into my seat, my placemat already full with two sausage and egg muffins. Delicious!
"Morning!" Came the reply
"I was thinking, maybe after we finished packing, we could have a family day, like we used to? What do you think?" I suggest "With our rules, adapted slightly so we can all play!"
"Family day?" Anna asks, I nod.
"Once a week, usually on the weekend, we have a family day, we would play games, watch movies, basically a family lazy day." Dad explains and everyone nods.
"Sounds great! Good idea little sis!" Hunter says, and everyone freezes.
I just grin.
"Thanks big bro!" I exclaim and run to hug him. "Although before we start I would like to send another song to the radio!"
"Sure!" Dad says and I grab my phone and sit at the counter and go about sending another of my songs, Make It In America.
"Wait... That was you?" Draven asks, I look up and nod, grinning at my step families dumbfounded expressions.
"There sent! Dad turn on the radio!" I exclaim
He does just in time for us to hear the announcer.
"Guys, Gals and Non-Binary pals! It seems we have a new song from Jessica De Van! This one is called Make It In America!"
"Turn It Up, Dad!" He did just as the song came on.
