Scott decides that sleeping on Jimmy is a good idea, his wings have other ideas. (Sorry but I couldn't really think of much to say.)

Although Scott loved spending time with his friends, he wasn't a big fan of having to get up at 6:30 in the morning to hang out with them. The Scottish man had never been much of a morning person and preferred to stay asleep till at least 9:30am so the early getup time wasn't appreciated in the slightest.

Scott found himself being woken up by the obnoxious beeping of his alarm clock, he groaned in annoyance as he slid an arm out from under the covers to try turn off the sound. It took a few tries but he eventually succeeded at his task and was blessed with a comforting silence.

He allowed himself to take in the silent room and the cosy warmth that his blankets provided him for a moment before glancing at his clock, an annoyed huff escaped his mouth when he saw how early it was.

Of all the times they could've chosen to meet up, it just had to be hellishly early in the damn morning Scott thought bitterly as he forced himself to get out from under the comfortable covers.

Once he'd pulled himself up into a sitting position on his bed, Scott looked at his wings which were drooped behind him, even my bloody wings are still asleep, he sighed loudly before reluctantly getting off the bed fully to get himself ready.

Walking over to his wardrobe, Scott pulled the doors open and began to scan through his clothes. He knew it was meant to be warm outside so he didn't want to put on anything too thick. His eyes stopped on a white t-shirt that had the rainbow flag going across the middle, he pulled the shirt out and chucked it over his bedpost carelessly. He also pulled out a cyan jacket and some black jeans before pushing the doors closed.

It didn't take Scott long to get changed, luckily he'd cut slits for his wings to fit through on the back of his shirt so he didn't have to worry about the discomfort that would come with them being pinned to his back.

He stretched the limbs out and winced as a series of pops came from them, to his relief, his wings didn't need preening and still looked rather clean. He tied his jacket around his waist and picked his phone up from his bedside table, after allowing himself to scan the room for the last time he headed downstairs to get some breakfast.

Once he'd gotten down the stairs, Scott stumbled into the kitchen and flipped the light switch on. He flinched at the sudden light and lifted an arm to shield his eyes from the sudden attack. After a moment, his eyes adjusted to the brightness and he went back to making breakfast.

Deciding that it would be best to make something simple, Scott popped some bread into the toaster and waited for it to pop back up.

While he waited, Scott allowed his wings to stretch out fully behind him again, he was rarely able to have his wings out since he didn't want his friends to know about them out of fear of what they'd think. This meant that he'd often wear shirts that covered them fully which always caused discomfort, today he'd decided to try his luck with a shirt that allowed his wings to breathe.

The sudden sound of the toast popping out of the toaster snapped Scott out of his thoughts, he flinched in surprise and his wings puffed up defensively.

Once he realised what the sound was, he felt his face burn red in embarrassment, he forced his wings to relax before striding over to the toaster to retrieve the toast.

Opening one of the cupboards above the worktop, the Scottish man pulled out some honey to put on the toast. He grabbed a knife and gently spread some of the honey over it before placing the jar back in the cupboard.
