Two hours after they were in the car again. "Did you enjoy the visit?" tanong ni Russ sa kanya.
Napangiti siya sa pagkaalala sa pamilya nito.
They were all attentive and respectful at nag-enjoy siya sa dalawang babae.
Ngayon ay mas naiintindihan niya ang ugali ni Russ at pakikisalamuha sa kanya.

Kung siya din siguro ang dumaan sa ganoong sitwasyon ay mas grabe pa dito ang pagdaramdam niya sa mundo. "I like your mother."
"I do too. Kung hindi dahil sa kanya, hindi ako babalik dito sa Manila. Though my father helped me and Olivia in so many way, I am still here because of my mother."
She had this gnawing feeling inside of her everytime he would mention Olivia. Mahal na mahal pa rin nito ang babae at ramdam na ramdam niya iyon.
"I'm glad you enjoyed being with them." He was driving now and she was sitting beside him.
Sabi nito ay may nakasunod pa rin daw na security sa kanila pero magaling magtago ang mga iyon at hindi nagpapahalata unless tawagin niya o kaya ay nasa open area sila tulad ng mga malls at restaurant.
She just smiled. "Matagal ba kayo ni Olivia?" maingat na tanong niya. Hindi siya aasang sasagot ito but there should be no harm in trying.
"I know her since forever. Naging kami bago pa kami makatapos ng pag-aaral. We broke up for a while and got back together again."
"Why did you break up?"
He shrugged. "Selos, and other nonsensical things. Niligawan ko ulit siya after. I just couldn't live without her."
That was so sweet. Alam niyang hindi iyon masasabi ni Russ pagdating sa kanya.
Kung maghihiwalay sila, hahanap lang ito ng iba. "Did you have any other during your break up?"
"I had few one night stands, parang ngayon din, pero noon ay hindi ako nawalan ng pag-asa na magkakabalikan kami kaya wala talaga akong siniseryoso. Unlike now." He paused and swallowed. "Hindi na talaga siya babalik. That is for sure."
Tumingin siya sa labas ng bintana ng kotse. "Must be hard. You must've loved her very much."
"I have never loved and will never love anyone as much as I love her."
Ouch! Bakit naman kailangan pang sabihin iyon?

Napaharap siya dito. That was just too much! "Must you say that? Alam ko na iyan, eh. Hindi mo kailangang isampal sa mukha ko," she cut in.
Napailing ito. "I'm sorry, you are right, hindi ko kailangang sabihin. I know that you feel the same anyway."
