'It fits! It fits!' I cheer as I look at myself in the mirror.

'I'm glad it does, because we have no time to make a new one.' Tony says. 'What, why?' Bruce asks. 'Because S.H.I.E.L.D said we had to go there.' Tony says. 'And that was how long ago?' Clint asks, already kind of knowing the answer to that question. 'Like an hour and a half ago or something.' He says, looking away. 'Ah lovely.' Steve says, sarcastically. 'Well let's put on our suits then, shall we?' Natasha says. 'Oh and Shuri, you stay here, right?' Bruce asks her. 'Yes, there is a tracker in each of your suits, so I can see you in the fight. By using holograms I can see what y'all are doing. And last, but not least, you all can throw away your old earpieces, becau-' 'But they were expensive as fuck!' Tony whines. 'Tony just keep your mouth shut for 2 seconds.' Steve says incredibly annoyed. 'Roses are red, violets are blue, I have 5 fingers and the middle one is for you.' He says challenging Steve. 'Because,' Shuri continues. 'I can communicate with you through these new earpieces, but I also made sure they basically can't fall out of your ear, ánd they have a protection shield. However, it's not very strong, it can take some damage but not too much, and because the threat is otherworldly, I don't know how strong their weapons are.' She explains as she hands out the earpieces.

Did she just say otherworldly? I must've misheard that.

'Alright, let's get in the car.' Natasha sighs. 'Is it far away?' I aks her.

'You'll see.' She tells me.

'Stark, you're late.' A tall man with an eyepatch says. 'Yeah, I didn't really feel like coming here, I thought the threat wasn't that much of a deal.' He said, sighing. 'And you must be the new recuit?' The man asks. 'Eh yea, yea, I'm y/n l/n.' I say as I hold out my hand for the man to shake it. 'I know, but I'm Nick Fury, head of shield.' He says confidently as he shakes my hand.

'So,' Nick Fury started. I've gathered you all here because we are not dealing with a playground insult, no, we are dealing with an universal and maybe multiversal threat.' He said, serious and focusing his eye on Tony.

So I (unfortunately) hadn't misheard Shuri.

'I've also gathered you now, because the Tesseract is misbehaving, a lot' He said staring out the window. 'The what?' Clint asks. I turn around in surprise, I hadn't even noticed him being here. 'The Tesseract, also known as the Cube, is a crystalline cube-shaped containment vessel for the Space Stone, one of the 6 Infinity Stones that predate the universe and possesses unlimited energy.' A sudden female voice speaks. 'And who are you?' Tony asks, seeming a bit uninterested. 'I'm Maria Hill, the Deputy Director of shield, Tony.' She says as she looks in Natasha's direction. 'Hey Maria! Long time no see!' Natahsa cheers. 'Oh my god, it is! Let's grab coffee sometime!' Maria agreed. Maria and Natahsa continue their conversation, Clint and Fury are taking and Tony and Bruce went to the lab to test some things I suspect, and Steve and Thor are arguing about who has the better music taste, leaving me standing there alone. I walked over to the window and stood there for a few minutes. Suddenly there comes a raging headache out of nowhere. And a voice talking too.

'Open the portal.'

I hear a deep voice say.

On that exact moment, I hear beeping all around me and people shouting to eachother. Suddenly every member of the team had come back to the 'lobby'.

'It's starting.'

Maria stated.

'Let's do this.' Tony basically cheered.

Then the voice said something again, but now it sounded like it was directed at me:

'Run, while you still can.'
