(A) and (B) were given each other for the class's secret Santa, and they end up running into each other at the mall after they bought what they were looking for..and by ran into each other I mean, physically, run into each other. The impact caused them to swap gifts by accident, and neither of them really checked because, they were both trying to get away without the other trying to question them. What happens when they notice the switch? How do they bring it up with the other *casually*? Do they just steal their own gift back? Who the hell knows.
