(I haven't even watched this but this scene keeps popping up on everything so, here we go)
(C), thought that (B) was being flirted with, so they ran to tell (A) and (D) and get this situation 'under control', though..they really were just making it worse. (C) and (D) tried some stuff at first, but then (A) stepped in and started acting like an angry SO (or perhaps sad/disappointed) just for fun, wether they actually are dating or not is up to you since either way could be funny.
