"It's quite hilarious how the house and people where you grew up with made you feel unsafe, when it's supposed to be 'home' for you."

***

I rolled the bus' window down, eager to feel the embrace of the wind. While light motion of the running bus made me enjoy the music echoing to my ears from the speakers of the bus while I am silently adoring the view outside the window.

Thoughts that are deeply rooted from the uttermost of my mind and heart.

Life is a one kind of a messy drawing board. It's made of chaos, yet like a painting, it's still able to exhibit a peculiar kind of beauty. A beauty of chaos. However, in my case, I am the chaos per se, but different from it, I cannot find any beauty in me.

To compare my life from the verdant grasses creeping in the concrete road, I would say, those grasses are way beautiful than my life. Since those grasses were able to dominate from the world's innovation. Which is a win for them. While me? Nah. This world got me and made me a prisoner to its own.

Since I am merely existing for everyone's expectations. I am just a shadow tho.

A phone call took me out of my reverie.

"Hello 'nak?

"May dala kang biskwit? Pahingi, nakakagutom," wika ni Jaxen. I nodded at her and handed the bag of Otap to her.

Tutal may handaan naman kaya ngayon, 'di ba?" she answered with her mouth filled with biscuits. I shook my head at her sight.

After she finished eating, she went back to sleep while I continued gazing outside and letting my thoughts flood my mind at the same time.

"Tumahimik ka, Jedi! Huwag kang palasagot," Papa's voice echoed in my mind.
