Keefes pov

I woke up in a cold room that smelt of many elixirs. I sat up as memories came back I looked around my room to only find a clear bin with a small crying thing inside
I got up to see a baby... my baby I picked her up and rocked her
I cried while she cried seemingly missing the same person the one that completed us

"Oh good your up and I see so is everleigh"

Is she awake elwin is Sophie awake

"Keefe... I'm not sure what happened she isn't gone but she isn't quite here either. I know it will be hard but you need to be there for your baby"

How can I be there for her if I couldn't be there for Sophie!

"You were there for her and she is still here I just don't know when she will wake up or-

Don't say IF I swear to god if you say if I will die

"Keefe please relax Sophie is a strong girl and believe me I want her to be up and awake right now especially for her baby but we have to give it time. If anyone can make it through this it's Sophie" - edaline said

I carefully gave my daughter to edaline and made my way to Sophie's room

When I walked in there I saw her my love except she looked different
Her face pale her body nearly skin and bone she looked like a corpse

I picked up her hand a squeezed as gently as I could

I'm so sorry baby I shouldn't have yelled at you I shouldn't have left you alone

I fell to the ground and an cried still holding her hand I'm not sure how long I was there
The only thing that snapped me back to life was a light squeeze back on my hand

My head shot up and I screamed for elwin

"What! What happened keefe"

She she she squeezed my hand she she felt me

"That's a great sign keefe this means she may be on track to waking up"

Today!

"I'm not sure if it will be today but hopefully soon I think until she is up you should go home with your daughter"

But but I can't leave her now that she is waking up

"Keefe please go home I have no idea when she will wake up and you should be home with your baby. You can't just ignore your daughter because of Sophie. You know she wouldn't want that"

I- your right I guess but please please call me the second she stirs again

"I promise I will, now go home"

I got everleigh carefully from edaline while she gave me the run down on feeding and Changing she even offered to stay with me till Sophie was up. I know should have said yes but I wanted to just be with my baby girl I wanted it to just be us till her mommy and my love was back home
