The Water Bending Scroll

Start from the beginning

"Nothing, I have no middle name." I said through my teeth.

Sokka perked up, "Wait, now I'm invested."

"To bad. better get.." I looked for a word, "Uninvested."

He sighed and turned back to Aang, "Think about it this way, you already mastered airbending, and that only took you one hundred and twelve years. I'm sure you could master three more elements by next summer." He smirked.

I elbowed his side, hard.

"Don't be a bully." I seethed.

"I'm a realist, okay?" He responded, turning back to the reins.

Aang grabbed his head, "I haven't even started water bending and we're still weeks from the north pole."

He started pacing again, "What am I going to do?"

Before I could say anything Katara grabbed his hand, and pulled him down to sit.

She grabbed both of his hands and set them in her lap.

"Calm down, it's going to be ok. If you want, I can try to teach you some of the things I know." She suggested.

I didn't realize that I was glaring at her until she glanced at me.

I guess I'm just not used to anyone else comforting Aang.

It's always been me.

"You'd do that?" He asked hopefully.

"We just need to find a good source of water first."

I turned to Sokka, only to see him smirking again.

He slung his left arm around my neck, "Maybe we can find you a puddle to splash in."

It took a lot not to actually push him.

The four of us stood by a river, that had a waterfall.

The water flowed calmly, it was a very serene sight.

I looked to Sokka, who stood next to me, amazed.

Slinging my arm around his neck, I stood on my toes.

Why is he so tall?

"Nice puddle." I sassed.

"Oh ha ha, so funny." He crossed his arms.

Appa flew over us, flopping onto the water.

He rolled onto his back, obviously enjoying the water.

Reminds me of when we used to wash him.

I wonder if he remembers.

Aang suddenly had no clothes on, only his underwear, and got ready to jump into the water.

"Don't start without me, boy!" Aang yelled to the bison.

I removed my arm from Sokka's shoulders and crossed my arms.

"We have to practice Aang. Put your clothes back on." I demanded, pushing my weight on one leg.

"Oh yeah, sorry." He glanced at me, then grabbed his pants, pulling them unnecessarily high.

Sokka flopped his arms, "Great. So what am I supposed to do?"

I shrugged.

"You could clean the gunk out of Appa's toes." Aang suggested, handing Sokka a stick.

He crossed his arms, and frowned. "So, while you guys are playing in the water, I'm supposed to be hard at work picking mud out of a giant bison's feet?"
