It was a beautiful day, the wind was just perfect, the temperature.

Yet I still couldn't help but bother the water tribe boy.

Except I'd call it, assisting instead of bothering.

"Don't tell me how to do my job."

"Who me? I did nothing, it's just a suggestion."

Sokka snatched the reins from my hands, "I think I know how to simply steer an animal."

I pat Appa's head, "He's not just an animal, he's a sky bison."

He rolled his eyes, "Bison, smison."

Is that even a word?

"All I have to do, is steer him, so relax."

I tried to grab the reins from Sokka, who held them above his head.

Pushing him, I got a bit closer to getting the reins.

"Are you trying to push me off?" He tutted, "Here I thought air nomads were peaceful."

"We are." I lowered my body back down, crossing my legs. "Doesn't mean we don't have any emotions."

Sokka held up a hand, "That's not what I said."

"What I am going to say though, is that your far from peaceful."

My head snapped towards him, the direction of the wind causing my hair to fly in my face.

"No I'm not, I'm as peaceful as a leaf." I convinced no one, pushing my hair behind my back.

"Yeah, okay." He finished sarcastically.

We sat in silence for a couple of seconds, my right knee sitting against Sokka's left.

I enjoyed the weather once more.

Ignoring the panting coming from Aang.

He's been a nervous wreck ever since we left the temple. I don't blame him of course, I'm scared too. But one of us needs to stand strong.

"You know I'm just playing, right?" Sokka mumbled, nudging my side softly.

"Yeah," I nodded, looking at him. "Why? Did I look sad? I'm not."

He shook his head, looking forward again. "No, you just got quiet. That's all."

"So you like when we bicker?" I inquired. "That's odd."

"I like winning these arguments, that's why." He answered.

"Sokka I let you win, trust me."

He rolled his eyes, trying to hide the smile that began to form on his face.

The panting got louder and his smile immediately dropped.

He turned to Aang. "Do I have to tell you the same thing I told Alura?"

Aang was pacing back and forth, like I was yesterday.

"If we hit a bump you'll go flying off." He frowned, "There I said it, now what's bugging you anyways?"

I leaned back, turning my body halfway to look at Aang.

"It's what Avatar Roku said," he exclaimed, "I'm supposed to master all four elements before that comet arrives."

It's a valid excuse to be nervous.

"And you do too." Aang pointed at me, "How are you so calm?"

"Because calm is my middle name." I answered cooly, leaning back on my elbows.

"No it's not, your middle name is-"
