We took the long way to the treehouse.

It was mostly them talking about there dates, and about some comic book characters fighting.

I stayed quiet just thinking.

I over reacted with Chris. That's what Gordie kept saying yesterday and i believe him.

I didn't have to yell at him. It's my fault all this happened.

Chris doesn't even like me. I was just another girl to bang.

I'm a idiot.

"I don't feel to good" I said.

"Suck it up babe" Teddy remarked.

"Teddy!" Vern yelled "be nice to her"

I just continued to trail behind them.

Slowly but surely we got to the brown box we call a treehouse.

I knew Chris and Gordie would be there just from the music we heard playing outside.

"I miss being 12" Vern said.

"Me to buddy boy, but i like that we get chicks now" Teddy stated "Sorry i mean I get chicks"

Teddy laughed his ass off all the way up the ladder.

"Hi girls" I heard Chris say while climbing up the ladder.

"Princess is back i see" Chris said in a snarky tone.

"Man whores bitchyness is back to" I replied not paying much attention to him calling me princess.

I watched Gordie mouth 'woah' to Vern. I rolled my eyes and read a magazine.

We sat in silence for awhile.

I think everyone was either scared to say or do something wrong.

Chris looked at me every once in awhile, it was a strange feeling.

To have someone stare at you.

To have someone you want stare at you.

Christopher Chambers. Broke my heart. And yet i still want him.

"School starts in a 12" Teddy said breaking the silence.

"I know it sucks" I replied.

I wasn't going to school, i was gonna leave before school starts. But the heavy anticipated feeling of school starting is unbearable.

"Being 15 sucks" Vern said with a sigh.

I think we all knew what he meant.

Being 15 does suck, your so close to being able to drive, your in the middle of your high school year, your expected to do good in life and plan ahead. You aren't considered a child, but not a adult yet.

"Let's do something fun" Gordie said.

"What do you have in mind Lachance" Chris replied.

"I'm not sure.. go steal something?" Teddy suggested

"No... Bigger" Gordie said.

"What the fuck can be bigger than stealing something?!" Vern yelled.

"Orgy?" Teddy said.

"Theodore!" We all yelled.

"What! It's something big"

I rolled my eyes. How idiotic can this boy be.

"Road trip?" Vern asked innocently.

"Vern that's not big- That's lame" Chris said.

"No i think we should do it" Gordie said.

"What?!" Chris and I yelled together.

"Road trip before school starts. Doesn't have to be big. Just outta town" He said.

"I'm in" Teddy replied kicking his feet on the card table.

"Sounds safe" Vern said "I'm in"

I looked at Gordie like he was a idiot. Why would i wanna go on a road trip with these idiots.

"Whatever" Chris said.

That left me to decide.

I didn't wanna go, i wanted to sleep in my own bed, not in some hotel.

I wanted peace, not dirty looks from Chris.

"Come on Lila it will be funnnnn" Teddy said.

"Come on Lila" Gordie said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Fine! ONLY if i get to pick location.

"Deal!" Gordie said.

All boys cheered except Chris. He looked pissed.

"Hey! Dumb and dumber don't you 2 have dates tonight or some shit?" I asked.

"Shit i forgot about that" Teddy said. "Screw up we'll stand em up!"

"Teddy!" I said.

"They weren't that hot anyone" He said with a smirk.

"Meet back here at 2 with all your shit" Gordie said.

They all nodded than left.

I lagged behind. It was 12:47, that gave me a hour.

Jesus fuck why did i agree to this.
