You and Jesse had been together for 6 years last week and decided it was time to start adding new additions to your little family. When you met Jesse he already had a little girl called Hope who you grew very close too and was like a mum to her. Her real mum bailed on her when she was a baby so your the only mother figure in her life. It was a lot of responsibility at 20 years old especially when your trying to find your feet in this crazy world but six years later you loved her like your own. You and Jesse decided just under a year ago you wanted to begin trying for children but haven't being the most lucky. Your body did an evil trick on you most months by arriving late and exciting you but instantly disappointing you with a red stain in your underwear and just one line on the pregnancy stick rather than two.

Jesse comforted you throughout it all and was patient with you, you felt guilty because you felt it was your fault why he couldn't be a father again. He was so desperate and already makes such an amazing dad and you was depriving him of the opportunity to do it again. You had mentioned to him maybe it was for the best if you broke up so he could go meet a woman who could give him what he wanted but he was addiment he wasn't leaving you. 'Darling it's not your fault ok, it's taking longer than we thought and planned but that's ok it will be worth in the end and even if in the end you can't have children their so many options, ok. I am not leaving you baby I love you so much we are in this together.' he would remind you when you was a heartbroken mess and blamed yourself.

Work and life had been crazy right now, you had just been promoted at work that came with a lot of responsibilities that you wasn't prepared for, You also just moved back to Manchester as Jesse resigned with man utd all while it was nearly Christmas. So it was expected you completely forgot about your period and how it was two week late and thought nothing of it. That was until you was crouched over the toilet throwing up your breakfast and Jesse behind you holding your hair back and rubbing you back easing the pain.

"Is mummy ok" Hope asked stood at the door frame of the bathroom

"She is sweetheart don't worry she just feel a little bit unwell"

"why don't you go make her bed comfy when she is finished and get her a blanket and a teddy bear" Jesse smiled

"Ok daddy promise me she will be ok" Hope asked with a worried expression

" I promise darling"

"I think I am okay now, that was the last of it" you said removing your head from the toilet

"why didn't you mention you was feeling sick baby" Jesse asked still caressing your back

"I was fine it just came over me, I felt like this every morning so far but it goes so just thought today would be the same."

"You have been feeling sick every morning like morning sickness. As in a pregnancy symptom" Jesse said growing excited

"Jesse don't be getting too excited it's more disappointing it's probably just a bug or something my periods not even due."

"ok well when is it"

"I'm not sure actually, pass me my phone please" you said

"Jesse, I am two weeks late" you said surprised

"ok is it time to get excited" Jesse asked trying to control his excitement

"not until we see two lines on a stick"

"Well in that case hear you are" Jesse said passing you a test from the bathroom cabinet

"It's done we just need to wait 5 minutes" you said putting the pregnancy stick on your dressing table

"where's hope?" you asked

"In her bedroom watching Cinderella, she made the bed all cosy for you look" Jesse said while pointing to the bed

"Aw bless her" you said while picking up her favourite teddy of the bed she left for you

"Are you ready" jesses asked

"Yeah can you just do it please" you said to which Jesse nodded his head

"what, Jesse say something"

"Theirs 2 lines" He said with a massive smile on his face

"What" you said inspecting the stick for yourself

"Omg I'm pregnant, I'm pregnant" you repeated

"Darling we're having a baby" Jesse said hugging you

"I can't believe it we have waited so long for this" you sobbed

"It's a Christmas miracle babe and your going to be an amazing mum"

"Hello, little one I can't wait to meet you, I have waited for you for what felt like forever and I have loved you before you was here and will love you more and more everyday even when I think it's not possible" Jesse whispered to your belly and laying hand next to yours on you stomach

"This is the best present ever y/n, I promise I will be here throughout it all you have my word sweetheart"

The pain and agony came to an end as their Christmas miracle was in just 9 months time they would hold their baby that they had waited what felt like an eternity for and their family was now complete this baby was the missing part of the puzzle and now they felt whole.
