Mason Mount- Miss you

This is going to be set during the euros 2021 before the final

It had only being 3 weeks since Mason left for the euros and everyday felt like a lifetime till you could see him again. With the pandemic you couldn't see mason unless it was at Wembley after a match but even that was at a distance. You facetimed, called messaged each other everyday but it wasn't quite the same as seeing him in person and being able to hold him.

You was getting ready to head to Wembley with Mason's family as England went against Germany in round 16 of the Euros. If England won this match they would be through to the semi finals. You had being excited the last few days as you could finally see Mason even at a distance it was better than nothing. While you wanted them to get to the final and win the euros apart of you wanted Mason home now and if they lost to Germany he would be but you knew that wasn't fair and the right mentality; no matter what he would be home soon.

You headed down to Wembley stadium in your England shirt with Mount 19 written on the back with Jasmine and summer as the others was further Infront getting the tickets.

"So you excited to see uncle mase summer?" You asked as she was holding both yours and Jasmine's hand

"Yeah but I wish I could hug him" Summer frowned

"He will be home soon" Jasmine smiled sympathetically

"Do you think he will like our shirts" Summer asked

"I do I think he will love them." You replied

It was half-time and the score was still 0-0; you went down to the barriers to go see Mason but you missed him as he went down the tunnel.

"I wouldn't think much of it y/n he is probably just stressed about the match and didn't see you." His brother said

"Yeah probably" you replied

It was the 75th minute when Raheem Sterling scored the first goal and the whole stadium erupted in cheer. You all got up and celebrated as they was that much closer to the semi final. It was pretty much a guarantee as at the 86th minute Harry Kane scored another goal.

The whistle blew and it was official England had made it too the semi-finals and you was so happy for the squad but especially Mason. Because of the current situation with covid you couldn't go down and see Mason on the pitch you had to wait till he came to you.

"Hey everyone" Mason smiled as he sat on one of the chairs 2 rows Infront of us.

"Hey mase congrats you played so well my boy" Tony his father said

"Uncle mase we all have you name and number on the back of our shirts, look." Summer said as she turned around to show mason

"Wow you look beautiful sum, and thankyou" He blew a kiss towards summer, and summer leant forward to catch it to which we laughed at her cuteness

" We will leave you both to chat" His mum said as they began leaving

"I have missed you so much, I don't like you not being in my bed on a morning or going home to you after training" Mason frowned

"I know I don't like it either but look how far you have gone and how well your doing. I am so proud of you mase. You have done me and your family proud." You smiled

"Then most of my job is complete that's all I want is to make you proud of me"

"Trust me mate she is, she never shuts up about you and constantly talking about how she wants to-" Your friend said coming out of nowhere

"ok ok that's enough" you said growing embarrassed which was evident with the blush growing on your cheeks

"Aw babe" Mason said playing on your embarrassment

"I don't like either of you right now" you laughed

"Well I have to go now darling but I will see you soon I promise, I love you y/n"

"I love you too mase"

"I will call you tonight" Mason said

"Ok" and he blew you a kiss as he left the stand and headed towards the tunnel
