Shut the fuck up and focus, Vittoria! Or else you'd never get a chance to see Rafael naked.

The stakes just got higher.

My fingers gripped the night lamp more tightly and beads of sweat began to form over my forehead even in this cold. Nonetheless, I followed the sounds which I guessed originated from the kitchen.

My heart was thundering so loud that I was afraid it's sound would get me caught. The smell of basil swirled through the air, indicating that something is being prepared. My anxiety heightened with every step I took towards the huge kitchen with my weapon ready in my hand.

And then the moment finally arrived. I saw him. I gasped. I got caught.

The man turned back, the buttons of his shirt undone. The knife was held firm in his hand which expelled a horrified shriek from me.

"You're finally awake." He said with a sly smile plastered over his face.

I wasn't breathing.

"Morning, Mason." Oliver greeted, clad in his business attire.

How can they wear clothes like that all the damn time will forever remain a mystery to me.

"Morning, grandpa." I grinned.

He ignored me.

Ouch! I'm hurt.

"Go and check if the little sleeping monster is awake." He ordered a guard which marched upstairs to her room in compliance.

I bet she was still sleeping. The house was very peaceful. That was impossible if the Vittoria Andress was awake.

"This is actually good. You ain't getting it back, pretty boy." A familiar giggle was audible.

"I'd lose my life for you." The pretty boy remarked.

Alli? She slept here?

"The fuck are you doing here?" Oliver barked, striding to the stairs which Alli and idiot Liam were descending.

My questioning gaze met her own but the eye contact lasted only for a fraction of second. She averted her eyes to the marble floor.

What was that?

"Her car broke down while leaving. So she had no option but to stay the night." Liam answered on her behalf.

"She can answer for herself." Oliver spat.

This man will never admit that his annoyance is just to veil the things he feels for her.

"Just so you know, Mr Rivera, I'm equally pissed seeing your babbon face in the morning." She twisted her jaw, pulling the sleeve of her tee down for some reason.
