I wake up and look at the clock it's still early and I got to go the office really quickly then heading to run the business with dad so I get up to start working out and then will do the usual routine after when I finish I head to shower and do my business get out get dressed and head downstairs where I find my not so little sister she sleeps at my house often because she fights with my parents very often
"Hey Blair what's up with you?" I ask
"Nothing just sitting waiting around for dad" she says
Why? Is he coming over to my house? I didn't get any message I say
"Mom said he apparently has something to say so here we are and you were sleeping when he called 10,000 times so I picked up finally" she says shrugging
The door bell rings and I go answer it and allow both of them to come inside and join us in the kitchen
"Kids I hope we are all good it's good to see you since some of us haven't been home lately" dad says
"I guess you could say that with the current issue going on and I haven't been in the mood it doesn't matter you both are never home" Blair says sarcastically
"Blair please don't give me headache it's just nice to see my daughter's safe" father says
"So tomorrow we have that event party for my job of course Henrie you have to come now you are Ceo of a few corporations Blair I want you on your best behavior please and too look pretty in your dress" dad and mom say
"Now I have a question what will be saying about Kleo when we're asked? Blair starts
"There is nothing to say Blair, Kleo isn't a Archibald so who would ask?" dad says
Are you kidding me he's your first born and our brother all this because of the right decision he made and did you forget he's a very high leading doctor who allt of people know you can't take away his last name" Blair yells
"Honey stop this okay just be there to support your brother Henrie he's done nothing" mom starts as father walks away then she follows
"Ugh I'll go for Henrie but I have two brothers and you cant make me forget" she screams
"Blair why do you cause trouble for yourself?" I ask her
"I'm not Henrie I'm being normal Kleo is our brother or did your ass forget too because it's easier for you" she says
"No but Kleo made his decision you bringing it up constantly bringing it up will resolve nothing they're done and so is he you can tell Kleo is happy it's just best to let it go" I tell her
"You're just happy he's not taking over the business so of course you don't care huh" she ask me
"Blair, Kleo is my older brother I miss him too but it's what he chose he knew this would happen I don't agree but we can't change our parents decision and he always preferred medicine he would never liked being Ceo he would've been miserable or never taken it in general" I say
"You know I'd get that if he did something bad but choosing to love someone isn't a crime we aren't in the 1940s okay" she says
I give her a hug and try to calm her down when done I go back to the table and finish writing my letter waiting for her to come back down
When Blair walks back in she's dressed for school and peaks over my shoulder
"Still writing you never stop working huh?" she ask
"Uh no this isn't work" I tell her
"Then explain why your writing a letter?" she ask
"Well if you must know it's to my penpal" I say
"why are you doing that though you've always hated these kinds of things how did it start anyways" she says
"Um I was on a website for books and poetry and we connected on A lot then she told me she's on a penpal program and we decided to be each other's I send it to her job and she's sends to my private work mailbox" I say
"That's cool how often do you talk to her?" she ask
"Well I enjoy talking to mine she's really nice and cool so we decided we wanna talk more so I send her 3 letters a week and her too" I say
"Oh so you have a crush that's cool what's her name?" she says
"No I never said that lets go get you to class and I have to stop by work for a little while and not that it's any of your business but I don't I just connect well with her and she makes my week better and we both have stressful jobs and im mystery man and she muster woman we don't know eachothers names" I tell her
"You are so boring brother I'm surprised you catch her attention and maybe you just don't want to find out a girl you have feelings might not fit in this life so best keep it a secret" she says and we head out
"No it's not that I'd love to meet her but she says no often she's scared but maybe one day soon... Look we are here now have a good day" I say
"Oh how fun another day in the only White's school how boring is this gosh makes me want to vomit" Blair says
"Blair it's not bad and just because Constances Prep school is like this doesn't make it that we're racist we have very fortunate parents who help make it exceptional" I tell her
"Are you dumb when dad says he would do every thing to make sure all Constance students excel and have influential parents who have ties to the community that's him being a racist and enforcing it on us hence our school and everything else he controls" she says
"I can't really reason with you right now Blair well talk when I pick you up okay have a good day sis I love your crazy self okay" I tell her
"There's no reasoning because I'm telling the truth duh" she says
And I drive off
