Chapter 40- interactive chapter

"Oh trust me Mi, I know a cheater when I see one" SungMi sipped her drink loudly, "I'm gathering evidence for this time too.. don't you remember that I was the one who saved HyeMin from that asshole"

"You're so dramatic, S" MiCha laughed, pushing her hair back, "what kind of evidence are you gathering?"

"I'm mostly just asking around.. you know, the usual blackmailing people with secrets and all of that" she said, "and Jackson is the only person who's dramatic" she shook her head, "you should've seen how he told his girlfriend that he would never have eyes for any woman other than her.."

"He said that?" MiCha asked.

"Mhmm" SungMi nodded.

"Yo Jimin!!"

I whipped my head in the direction of the voice and saw Yeonjun walk towards me, so I waved at him. Thank god he was here... I couldn't go another second listening to this conversation about Jackson Wang.

"I thought you were hanging out with Taehyung today" he said looking at my not-so-unusual group and then pulled up a chair to sit next to me.

"Well, I did hang out with him.. but then I had a date with Mi-"

"That's quite a date" he snorted, inviting MiCha's attention, who just scowled.

"Oh hey MiCha.. and friends" Yeonjun said.

"We have names too, you know?" HyeMin said.

"Aye HyeMin, of course" Yeonjun smiled, "by the way, I saw you with y/n today.. are you two friends now? She's cool right?"

This suddenly became the first conversation I was genuinely interested in...

"Excuse me, you did what?" MiCha asked.

"Saw her with y/n" Yeonjun simply said. Everyone knew MiCha loathed y/n, but everyone also knew how Yeonjun was a sucker for drama.. I was 100% sure that he said this purposely in front of Mi..

"It couldn't have been y/n" MiCha said, "I'm sure your eyes deceived you."

"Nah they didnt" HyeMin said, "it was me."

"Huh?" MiCha looked like she had seen a ghost.

"HyeMin-ah? What the fuck?" SungMi chimed in, "What were you doing with her? Don't you know we HATE y/n?"

"YOU hate y/n" she said, "I don't"

SungMi gasped dramatically, "that's so fucking traitorous of you.. oh my god-"

"Why do you hate y/n though?" Yeonjun asked SungMi. All this while I decided to shut my mouth because if I would say ANYTHING at all, MiCha would most certainly murder me.

"Because she's clearly after Jimin" SungMi asserted.

"Actually-" I began but then MiCha shot me a death glare, thankfully Yeonjun covered for me.

"First of all, that's what YOU think.. Jungkook is clearly in love with her and Taehyung is so obviously smitten..no offense to Jimin, but y/n has better options than a guy who is taken" Yeonjun announced.

"That's kinda harsh" I thought out loud.

"Oh is it, Jimin?" Mi asked.

"I mean-"

"SECONDLY, Jimin is MiCha's boyfriend.. Even if he's showing interest in her, which I dont really blame him for, y/n is pretty cool,, only MiCha should dislike her.. what is your issue with her?"

"I'm not showing interest-"

"That's because MiCha Is my best friend" SungMi claimed, "and we should always hate the people our best friends hate.. no questions asked.. it's like a golden rule of friendship. Some of us DO follow it, unlike HyeMin" she shrugged.

"Seriously S?" HyeMin raised her eyebrows, "that's complete bullshit."

"But what were you doing with her?" MiCha asked. She looked disappointed.. and heartbroken..

"Do I really have to relay everything I do, to you?" HyeMin asked.

"Of course, yes"

"MiCha, I have my own life"

"That doesn't mean you can hang out with my enemies"

"I wasnt 'hanging out' with anyone" HyeMin spat, "and I dont hate her."

"SO WHAT WERE YOU DOING?"

"Once again, I DO NOT HAVE TO TELL YOU EVERYTHING."

"You know what? I'm done" MiCha got up, took her bag and left.

"Wait MiCha, I'm coming too-" SungMi said, "you better apologize to her HyeMin"

HyeMin just rolled her eyes in response, "I'm done too." and then left in the opposite direction.

"I should probably go after MiCha" I told Yeonjun.

"You're not obligated to" he said, "but maybe as her boyfriend, you should."

"I don't really know what happened just now" I said.

"It was quite messy" he admitted, "although, I think we just witnessed a friendship breakup"

"Must be hard for them"

"I'm sure it was.. you're not gonna go?"

"Yeah, I will go" I said, not even attempting to get up.

"I get you though, I wouldn't want to go either if I was falling out of love" he said.

"That's not-"

"And developing feelings for another girl who has better options"

"That is a load of crap-"

"You're really obvious, you know? Getting flustered around her, taking your anger out on Soobinie the second you got to know that she's going on a date with him, practically forcing me to go to y/n's.. of course, Taehyung was involved in that too... but you get my point." he smirked.

"What are you even on about?"

"Sorry captain, but you're quite dumb too.."

"You know what, I think I'm just gonna follow MiCha" I stood up. Anything to avoid this conversation.

"Should have done that in the first place.. you're still her boyfriend"

"You're doing extra laps for practice tomorrow" I announced and left before I could hear him protest.

Okay but this book is getting unnecessarily long and no where close to any of the characters EVEN kissing.... this is irking me for some reason...this shit is more slow-burn than my non existent love life..... should I do time skips..? but how will I *show* the connection and chemistry with the entire maknae line unless it's a slow burn.. it won't really be a proper reverse harem in that case...

ANYGAYS, im up for suggestions!! Please drop your opinions!!

Another question for all of you, if you write; do you find it easier to write elaborate scenes or dialogues? Personally, I find writing conversations more fun..
