In a few hours I was able to walk and talk. I stayed in my room, though. I didn't want to face everyone at the moment. I sighed and sat on my bed. I sat there for a few seconds when I heard a loud ear injuring screech. I whipped my head up to the doorway. There stood ... Me. I was screaming. An exact replica of me. The figure of me ran towards me. Her hands clenched in frustration.

"GET OUT! GET OUT! ARGHHH!" She yelled. I backed away. She scratched her arms and swung at me. This is fake, this is fantasy, this is all in your head, I thought. I stood and watch myself be tortured of some invisible force. She ran at me. I expected her to push me against the wall. She passed right through me and disappeared. I sank to the floor with shivers riveting my body.

I jumped when I heard a voice at the door.

"Renee," John whispered. "Are you alright?" I shivered with shock and hugged myself for comfort. I was glad some one nice was in the room.

"I'm fine," I reply.

"Did you see yourself..." He said and slowly trailed off. I nodded. He walked over to me and sat next to me. He put his arm around me. It was the first time we touched. I felt a warmth from him as he comfort me. I finally noticed silent tears dripping down my pale cheeks. He hugged me closer. I felt comfortable in his arms even though he was a stranger to me. He whispered that everything was okay to me. I nodded. We held each other like that for awhile. I put my head on his shoulder. My eyes dipping closed. We breathed slowly until we fell asleep
