PROLOGUE
I am Renee Leewood. I am fourteen and I live in the Erox area. It's that time again. The time when the government officials select their highest three doctors to run their biggest experiments testing upon a cure that is needed for anything. The doctors choose a group of thirty poeple from each area. There are four areas total: Kla, Romelin, Deenis, and Erox. Everyone longs to be chosen because pratically 99% of the time, the cures work. Also, $10,000,000 is given to each group of people. A healthy life is promised for those who are chosen. This year, like every five years, new cures are going to be followed. Near sighted and genetic mutations were chosen this year. Pratically everyone wanted to be chosen for them because these were the most common problems now-a-days. This was the only year though that there was no one wanted to be chosen for. That is the cure for insanity.
