Chapter 39

Henry POV

I watched her went inside her building. I stood there near my car, feeling alone for the first time in my life. I didn't felt alone when Angie left. I felt anger, betrayed and hatred. Now, I felt alone and sad. I don't think I can survive without her. No, I know I can't survive without her.

I should have told her. I should have told her before I leave that night. I'm the one who fucked this up. That was her first time, and I left her in the middle of the night like she was a one night stand. Now, she probably hates me. She didn't say she loves me. Why would she say she loves me after what I'm done to her?

God! I'm such an arsehole.

I arrived home, it's empty. Complete utter silent and lonely. I went straight to upstairs to my bedroom, I climbed on the bed without bothering to took off my shoes. I pulled the pillow that Mia slept on, I pulled to my chest and hugged it tightly, I think of Mia. Without warning tears starts to run down my cheeks, I sobbed silently like a child.

Am I going to lose her?

Amelia POV

I went into the elevator without looking back to Henry because I can't bare to see his sad face. I love him but I can't say that to him. Not now.

I reached my floor and walk to my place, I thought I let Clark know that I'm back.

Knock knock knock!!!

I knocked on his door, no answer but I heard ruckus from the inside, so I knocked again.

"Clark, you there?" I called him.

"Coming!" I heard Clark answer.

He opened the door a little like a peek only show his half of his body and he was only in his sweat pants and shirtless.

"Hey, you're back." He said looking kind of shady.

"Um... Yeah, I thought I should let you know. Thought you must be worried. Why are you shirtless?" I asked and then it's hits me. My jaw dropped and my eyes goes wide in surprise.

"Are you with someone? Who is it?" I asked.

"What? What are you talking about?" He said kind of shady.

"Oh my god! Did you hired a call girl?" I asked in surprise.

"What? No!!!" He answered with a frown.

"Yes. You are. You're acting shady." I accuse him.

"Hey Mia, it's me." A familiar voice came out from the living room. I passed Clark to see who that was. My friend Lucy from work is standing there wearing Clark's T-shirt.

"Heyyy!!! Lucy! It's you." I waved at her, grinning. She's awkwardly wave back at me.

I turned to Clark "Well, well." I wiggle my brows at him, smiling like a fool.

"Oh, fu*k you." Clark bicker at me.

"Oh, I will leave that to Lucy." I said still smiling.

"Get out of here." Clark whispered at between gritted teeth.

"Bye Lucy..." I yell at Lucy.

"Bye Mia."

I turned to Clark and "Hehehehe..." Slap on his bare chest playfully and "You dog you."
As a return he rolled his eyes at me and shut the door on my face.

I chuckled and open my own room and entered.

I smile leaning at the door.

And I recalled Lucy asking Clark to dance with her at the club. She must have been at Clark's place since last night. That's mean Clark like her after all and it must going well that she's still there half naked. I'm happy for Clark. I'm happy for both of them.

I changed to a pair of sweats and went straight to bed. Holding my big pink teddy bear thought about Henry. I thought about sending him a text to say Goodnight but I broke my phone.

I need to get a new phone first thing tomorrow.

Slowly I drifted to sleep.

Henry POV

9:10 AM

Where is she? I can't reached her phone because she broke her phone. Is she not coming?

I pacing in my office, constantly looking at my watch. Finally, I decided to go get her.

*Ring Ring Ring* My phone's start to ringin.

It must be her.

I fished out my phone from my pants pocket, it was Nik.

Ugh! What does he want?

"Nik, not a good time." I barked.

"I need the car. I'm going to get Mia." I said to Nik.

"No need sir. She's in the elevator and you need to look into the security camera." He said.

"What? Why?" I asked a little startled.

"It's stuck sir. It's seem Mr. Standford push the button to stop." He answered.

My eyes goes wide and angers fill through my veins.

"Standford is with her alone?"

I quickly go over to my computer and logged in to the security system.

As soon as, I saw the image of inside of the elevator was Mia leaning at the corner of the far behind. My blood start to boil. That FUCKER Standford was leaning so close to Mia and he said something to her.

Bang!!!

Standford drop on the elevator floor holding his bloody nose. Mia has punch him on the face. After that Mia passed cross Standford and push the button making the elevator move.

My jaw dropped at the scene infront of me. I'm either to be happy that my girl hit the FUCKER that I hate or I'm scare of her. But I know I'm better not mess with her again.
