After learning what they have on their trip to the archives, Rowan and John B we're definitely eager to share their new information with the rest of the Pogues when they get back to OBX. How they got the particular information was something they were still debating on sharing.

"Hey," John B said, handing her a drink that Sarah had gotten them when they entered the ferry the actually managed to catch.

"Hey." Rowan smiled.

"Where's Sarah?"

"Washroom."

"Cool."

"Yeah. Hey, what do you think the others are doing right now?" John B sighed and brushed his fingers through his hair.

"Probably lost without us."

Rowan laughed and shook her head. "Probably. When we get back, what are we doing?"

"I'm going to head to school and talk to Mr. Sunn. I know he can translate the letter. And you, you are going to check in on Pope and your Pop's."

Rowan groaned. "You're right."

"Of course I am."

The ferry horn sounded though the air and Sarah came bouncing back towards them. "I guess this is the end of the secret mission." She said.

"Despite....everything." Rowan started, as the three headed off the ferry. "You really helped us out."

"Well, you're welcome. I can cross helping fugitives off my bucket list."

"Glad to help." Rowan smiled

"Seriously. Thanks. For the clothes and archive pass." John B added.

"No problem. Enjoy your treasure hunt." Rowan secretly hoped they didn't end up regretting telling Sarah why they really needed her help.

She would've helped them if they continued keeping it a secret. Rowan also hoped that the others didn't kill them for spilling the beans.

They didn't need that. They needed to work together in order to figure this out. And if Sarah was the the only one stopping them, then they'd have to figure out something else. And that was just a lot of work.

"We will."

"Oh...." Sarah said, before they complete separated. Rowan and John B turned around. "I know you are in the clear and everything...." Sarah said pointing to towards John B. She then looked to Rowan.  "But you better clarify with Rafe that you're not going to Midsommers with him."

Rowan's mouth gaped open in pure disbelief. This guy was obsessed.

"Holy shit, that's tonight?" John B asked

"Yeah. Um. I know you guys are done, but he seems to think your going with him."

"Fucking hell." Rowan muttered. "Would he get the hint if I show up in a damn work uniform? Cuz that's the only way I'm even attending the stupid thing."

"Huh. Yeah. Maybe." Sarah smiled. "See ya."

"God damn it." Rowan groaned as she turned to John B. He gave her a weak smile.

The two of them and Sarah parted ways. "I'll see you later?" Rowan said, looking up towards John B. The fresh rain pelted down on them. She was really getting tired of getting rained on.

"Yeah. Later." He nodded, leaning down, their lips connected. Butterflies erupted in Rowan's stomach and she knows she'll never get tired of the feeling.
