Normal POV

Nowadays in westcrow even the outcasts and those who lived under rocks knew of the latest gossip which was Damien Winchester constantly escorting bella swift, some have used this as a further excuse to tease and taunt bella while some are trying to cotton favour with her.

The week went by like any other, day after day bella was crowded with people who wanted nothing more than to work their way up in society through her, it got to a point where ezra and alissa had to bail her out of the fake laugh group a couple of times.

Bella packed her books as she prepared to say goodbye to another week of school and hello to spring break, once again a few girls tried to circle her with warm greetings and offered to carry her bag, but one girl, in particular, was gutsier than the rest

"Bella I was wondering if you could do me a huge favour?" A girl by the name of Clara Crofton eldest daughter of Count and Countess Crofton, bella knew exactly what this girl wanted but she decided to just deal with it and get it over with.

"Yeah, I'd be happy to what do you need?" Bella asked with a fake smile the one that told you to leave her presence immediately otherwise she'd do something she'd regret later on.

"I was hoping you could give this to damien for me" Clara pulled out a navy blue box the size of a book wrapped with a golden ribbon clearly the colours of damien's family crest, for the first time bella's expression changed she could not hide her true feeling anymore, she looked up at clara who now had a mocking smirk on her face as if she were making bella her errand girl.

"Is this how low you look down on the Winchesters?"Bella said

Everyone froze, those who were chuckling fell quiet and clara almost dropping the box had a flustered expression.

"How could I dare look down on the protectors of Hyperion, stop twisting my words!"

"But if you really didn't look down on them you wouldn't make me do this, after all, if you weren't trying to embarrass him you would have given it to him yourself, whether he accepted your gesture would be his decision but at least you had given him the respect upfront," Bella said in a stern and somewhat scolding tone.

"Is this the same bella swift I've known? the one who'd look like she was about to cry when any of us approached her rudely, the same girl who'd have ezra west defend her from the slightest arguments, who is this girl in front of me?"Clara thought to herself.

Without saying another word bella left the classroom, pushing away anyone that was in her, little did she know that this would cause an eruption in the social circles.

Bella's POV

Spring break has finally started and brought along the spring festivities and the upcoming spring ball. My mother, Theresa Swift, was adamant about preparing a dress for me even if she had to call in a foreign stylist.

"Muuuum you don't have to do all this"

"Bella Swift you have not been to a ball since your debutante at 13 years old, it's been almost three years, see this as an opportunity to make a comeback"

"But i-"

"*sigh* I know, I know you like to study ahead but your grades are excellent my dear, you should learn for your own sake to cool down a little"

"*sigh* fine I will"

"If you are still distressed why not go to a cafe to relax a bit, there are some lovely spring exclusive treats you could get"
