Nightmare was tangled up in a stray fishing net that was floating around. The Bull Shark was in some sand and was struggling to get out of the net, poor thing was terrified. The more he struggled, the more he got tangled and it got to the point where he wasn't able to move. He started shaking and crying.

Eventually someone heard his crying...

Dream was swimming back to his home he shared with Ink and sometimes Blue. As he passed over a seaweed field when he heard someone crying. He knew that ment someone was in trouble snd he wasn't just gonna leave them.

He followed the crying to see Nightmare, caught in a net, made by the surface dwellers. It hurt him to see Nightmare like this. He carefully and gently pick the small shark up, making him panic, but due to the net he just shook more, it just broke Dream's heart. He wanted to get Nightmare out right away but feared he'd swim away, Dream wanted to make sure Nightmare had no injuries. So Dream held Nightmare close to his chest and stared swimming home
