~•+*❤️Chapter 18🖤*+•~

Start from the beginning

{Y/N} felt her breathing pick up in speed along with her heartbeat as she entered the large building with Alastor by her side. Of course, having him with her calmed her by a large amount. But the nerves were still there. A small amount of people were seated at the dining tables in front of the stage, where a microphone and stool were. Alastor gave {Y/N} her violin, taking her face within his hands and giving her a small kiss upon her forehead.

"You'll do extraordinary, my doe. Do not let those silly little nerves get to you. I'll be supporting you from the audience." {Y/N} smiled up at him with a nod. She turned and walked to where backstage was. Normally, there'd be a bit too many people trying to audition for the spot. But including her, there were only five. It seemed the crash must've hit everyone a bit too hard.

The young woman went to her own corner of the backstage, taking out her violin and preparing it. The bow, rosin, tuning the strings. She made everything was perfect for her audition. She the played the open strings, double checking for any tuning mistakes. The beamed. So far, everything was going perfectly! No slip ups. Just how she preferred it.

{Y/N} was the last one remaining. The the other had performed, and it was about to be her turn. Guessing by the area and what it was supposed to be, she figured a rather calming song would do. Background music in a way. People would listen and enjoy their meals. That was the least {Y/N} could ask for. Her talents had been in the shadows for far too long.

"Number five, please come onto the stage!" A men yelled out. {Y/N} obeyed, carefully heading towards the center. Alastor sat at a small round table, smiling as he watched his precious doe come onto the stage. Oh, how majestically gorgeous she was. Once she was still and waiting, a different judge spoke.

"Name?" {Y/N} froze. She had forgotten the part where she couldn't speak. She glanced around the room, sweat beginning to form at her temple. "What is your name?" The judge repeated. The woman felt tears coming to her eyes. Would her chance to shine really pass so quickly? Alastor stood up and wlaked up to the judges.

"My apologies, my doe cannot speak. I will be the one answering your questions. Will that work for the six of us..? Hm~?" The judges nodded quickly, realizing who he was. The rich and famous radio host. Who wouldn't know him?

"Her name is {Y/N}! Lovely name, isn't it..?"

"And what song will you be playing?" Alastor grumbled. Then smirked. He knew what song his doe was planning to play. He had seen it resting upon her music stand while she was resting  in the bath tub. He memorized the title as if her life depended on it, and so he said the title with confidence.

Guys- Let's pretend the violin part in Experience (yes, that tiktok song) was made in the 1920s by none other than {Y/N}. (I'm not taking credit or anything, just figured it'd be a nice song to use.) It will have a different title for now, but let's pretend later on the actual music artists just uses her music as inspiration- Deal? Deal. (Again, I am not taking credit or anything. Just making you more majestic. UnU)

"My Heart Belongs To You." {Y/N} smiled, nodding to the judges to confirm what Alastor had said.

"I've never heard of such music. Where is it from?" A different judge said, a stern brow raised.

"She wrote it herself!" Alastor exclaimed. The judges nodded then took out certain pieces of paper. Alastor took his seat, eager to hear his doe play. {Y/N} took a deep, calming breath, then lifted the violin up to her shoulder and chin. Finally, she played.

It seemed as if the room was lit up with a certain feeling, a vision of sorts. But only one she and Alastor could see. As soon as the bow dragged across the strings skillfully, her heart was opened, pouring out with the music.
