"I was in a hurry because Ange was throwing tantrums about not being able to secure her or her child's future with me..." "Hold on your ex-girlfriend was pregnant with your child? When did that happen?" Christopher asked with confusion. "Before the accident, I might have been vulnerable or maybe it was something else but I don't exactly remember how all of it happened. But I never had any bad intentions towards her. I never wished to hurt her. I never fell for her. But I agreed that I will be with her, just for the child's sake. My little son, I killed him and that is why I am suffering this much..." Someone slapped him hard.

He looked at his best friend. "You were not responsible for anything. Stop blaming yourself and answer what have you written in your will?" "Everything I own will go to Ange and her child if something ever happened to me?" Forrest asked confused. "But it was before Reva. I decided to make her the owner of the Heart research center and change my will as well. But before I could..." "You got stuck with this case, yes?" Christopher looked at him. "Yes, I think it was because of this I never get to change my will."

"Have you discussed this with your lawyer?" "I had a few days ago. Before this case was filed against me." Forrest told Christopher to remember exactly when he talked to him because it was the very same day Ange came and threatened him and Reva. "let me guess your lawyer is a young blond woman?" Christopher asked. "No, of course not. There wasn't any..." Forrest paused as if stuck on a thought. "There was a woman I bumped up against when I was walking out. The lawyer told me that she was his secretary and she was new. She had blond hair and was wearing glasses."

Christopher patted his back. "You did good, now come on we have a celebration to do. You will love what I had planned for you and Reva." Christopher now can guess a little what was going on around here. He knows most of it was connected to that blond woman. But he doesn't know why. That is something that was bugging him a lot. Who is this woman? Is it Kelly? Or is it someone else? But how can it be Kelly? He didn't know her back then. Back then he was just starting this all. He felt someone's hand on his shoulder and he looked at Pia.

"Hey little pixie, missed me?" He asked. "Very much, so did you find something?" He nodded. "What?" She asked. "I will tell you when we are alone in bed? Would you like to hear a good bedtime story?" Christopher asked. "I am not five that you tell me bedtime stories, leave that for your daughter." That made him smile.

"I am not very sure that you are not five. I think you still are the same as our little one. Or maybe you can prove me wrong, Mrs. Pia Christopher Royce Woodland." He whispered into her ear making her blush. She pushed him away lightly. "Behave, we have guests around here."

Eros looked at Forrest. He can see the signs in him. Signs of a defeated man. He should be happy knowing this was the man who had taken his best friend away from him. But somehow he felt sorry for him. Back then he didn't know him, but now he does and because he does, he knows that Forrest doesn't deserve it. Not at all. Then there was this girl who was always away from everyone. She was always looking at Christopher and Pia. He doesn't know why?

"Let's go and cut the cake." He looked at those eyes. She looked not as helpless and vulnerable as when he saw her for the first time. "Pia, you are looking good. Although I doubt if I ask you for a dance today your husband will not hulk out on me again." In response to which Pia just smiled. Christopher pulled her to him.

"Happy Anniversary little pixie." He whispered kissing her forehead. Forrest congratulated them wondering if he would be around to celebrate his and Reva's. He is getting hopeless by the minute and he has no idea how to tackle all of it.

"I am worried about him Chris. My brother never looked so down. Neither my best friend looked so unsure of herself." Pia whispered. "They will be fine baby, I assure you. They are tougher than they look. Now let's celebrate shall we?" He asked her leading her towards the dance floor. Reva was picking up her drink when she saw someone with Forrest. It was someone she doesn't like to see around his husband. She wondered what Ange was doing here. So she put her drink down and followed them quietly.

"You do not understand Ange," Reva heard Forrest say. "I liked you, but I love her. She is someone to who I have given her my heart and soul. You cannot possibly say it is the same." "Why not? Just because she is someone you got fascinated with? Where is the difference, Forrest?" Ange asked. "I love her, I am not fascinated with her. And if you think even for a second that you can play your little game and I will say nothing, then you are very wrong. You cannot take away the thing I love most in this world. I will not let you." Forrest told her.

Reva was very much shocked. How even she got here? Who let her in? "And you think you can play me? I lost my life, I lost my child all because of you, you were selfish Forrest, you always were selfish. You are a selfish son too, even when your mother and father don't like her, you are still with her. You already destroyed my everything and you are not even a little regretful for that. You took my child away, you now have your own and you think you are redeemed. But you can never be redeemed of those things you have done on purpose. You should have married me, Forrest Arthur Lyte. But no, you have to fall in love. Not just that, you have to become the father of her children when you left mine for dead..." Reva slapped her.

No one saw her coming or the slap coming. "Get out of this place. If you ever try and harass my family again, I swear to god I am not going to be this much lenient. Get out and stay away from my husband. You want to settle in court, we will settle it in court. Now go away." Reva pulled Forrest up from the floor.

"Baby, are you alright?" He shook his head. "Define alright Reva, my life is falling apart. And all I can do is watch like a meek spectator doing nothing. Because no matter what, no one would believe me that I am the innocent one here." She smiled at that sentence. "I do Art, I always believed you." She helped him to go inside the house. Christopher had heard the commotion so did other people. What he couldn't understand is how she got inside.

Reva helped Forrest inside the room. Christopher came in too with Valentino, Pia, and Eros. While rest was outside accessing the situation. "It is alright Forrest, get some sleep." She whispered stroking his hair. Slowly she put him to sleep. Then she covered him walking out. All of them were looking at each other. They had no clue how did this happen.

"Forrest?" Christopher asked as Reva came down. "Sleeping for now. He is going through so much, I am concerned about his mental health. Remember last time..." He almost took his life. But none dared to complete that sentence.

"I know, we are doing everything we can. But we don't know what kind of things she might produce as proof against him in court. But might be enough to prove Forrest guilty." Valentino says. "There are loopholes. I know, what she is saying isn't true but what we need is proof of the same. When Forrest said to me that he never knew who was paying her bills that raised some flags." Eros looked at her thoughtfully. "I can isolate that information all I need is the name of the hospital she was in before this."

"Might be in the medical records? I will help you look" Mia offered. "And as she said that she had been pregnant but she never let Forrest check on her, there is another red flag there." Disha looked at Valentino. "On it, we will figure it out." Christopher looked at Reva who was still thinking something. "You got something else?"

Yes, I think and for that, I need your help." Christopher stood up. "Where do you need to go?" He asked. "The Lyte Heart research center." Christopher looked at Pia. "I will look after the children. Let me know what you can find out." Christopher nodded walking out after Reva.
