Chapter Twelve: "Mystery Person"

I woke up and my head was still aching. I flinched at the bright light that filled my room. I started moving around and realized I was still tied up but I was tied up to a bed. The room looked like an average room. May damitan, may lamesita, may dalawang pinto at apat na ilaw sa bawat corners.

Kulay puti rin ang buong kwarto tapos may black na lining sa baba ng pader.

Nakatali ang mga kamay ko sa may header ng bed frame tapos ang paa ko sa may paanan ng frame.

Napansin ko rin na hindi na ako nakasuit na suot ko nung isang araw. Ang suot ko ngayon ay isang kulay royal blue na silk na ternong pantulog.

I was minding my own business, trying to figure a way out when I suddenly heard a muffled scream.

"Tulong! Tulungan nyo ako!"

Her voice sounds familiar. It's like I heard her from somewhere.

"BItawan mo ako, hayop ka!"

Then it hit me. Oh my gosh.

Si Skai yung sumisigaw. My first ex-girlfriend. Bakit ba siya nadamay?!

"Tumahimik ka babae ka!"

It was Tanner. Anong gagawin niya kay Skai?!

"Skai!" Sigaw ko. "Tanner bitawan mo si Skai!" I screamed at the top of my lungs despite being dehydrated. 'Di ko rin alam nasaan ang dalawa pero itinuloy ko ang pagsigaw ko.

Mayamaya, nawala ang mga iyak ni Skai at biglang may kumatok sa kwarto. I furrowed my eyebrows as I thought who would need to knock.

The door creeks open and my blood started to boil.

It was the mastermind.

*Mystery Person POV*

Kumatok ako sa pintuan ng kwarto ni Jace at saka binuksan ang pinto. Nang makita ko siya napangiti ako. Nakasimangot siya but I ignored it. My plan is going to be a success. I know my first plan failed but I know that this one won't.

"How could you do this?! Anong iniisip mo? Anong gusto mong mangyari? Baliw ka ba?!"

I rolled my eyes and approached him. I sat on the bed and started caressing his hair. Inilalayo niya ang ulo niya mula sa kamay ko kaya hinayaan ko nalang siya.

I scoffed as I remembered Kendra saying almost the exact words that Jace said.

Tumingin muli ako sakanya at ngumisi. "You'll know in the near future. But now, you need to rest because next week is gonna be a great week for us."

Tumayo na ako at umalis sa kwarto despite him screaming his lungs out. Pumunta ako sa kusina at kumuha ng isang wine glass at inilabas ko ang wine mula sa cupboard. I poured myself a glass and started brainstorming to how I should dispose them. Dapat yung makikita nilang lahat. But in what way?

Inayos ko ang buhok ko dahil mamayang 12 makikipagkita ako kay Liam. Isa si Liam sa mga nagtatrabaho sakin parang si Tanner. Kaya ko nakilala si Liam ay dahil kambal-kambalan sila ni Tanner. They do look a lot like each other and act a lot like each other as well. They are often mistaken for twins and personally I thought they were sibling at first.

But when it comes to personality, Liam is the kinder one. Mas mat'yaga kumpara kay Tanner.

I took a sip of my favorite red wine and stared into the unknown. I wonder if my plan will finally work out.

After my third glass, Tanner comes into view.

"You drinkin' again? What is this suicide?" He jokes and leans on the kitchen isle. Mukhang kakaligo lang nito kasi amoy aftershave siya tapos medyo basa ang buhok niya which brings out his dirty blond locks.

Tumawa ako and shook my head. "Suicide agad? I need a plan, Tanner. I need a plan and you know wine helps me think."

Nagkibit-balikat si Tanner pero kumuha ng baso niya at naglagay na rin ng wine sa baso niya. He takes a sip as we maintained eye contact. Maraming nang-aakalang may relasyon kaming dalawa which is because Tanner is undeniably in love with me. I'm not though, but the benefit of this is that he's willing to do lots of the dirty work for me. Lucky me. But I know I still can't trust him 100%.

"You know you're really pretty, right?" He chuckles and puts the glass down.

Ngumisi ako at tinitigan siya ng mabuti. "You know my plan. And you have no chance with me. Mahal ko siya and that's final. You'll get your payment once we're done."

He sighs but stays quiet. Tumango lang ito at saka inubos ang inumin niya. Tumayo na siya at inilagay sa dishwasher bumalik siya sa lamesa at nginitian ko. "My offer still stands though."

I rolled my eyes playfully and scoffed. "Yeah, right. Go, continue your work, Tanner."

Tumawa siya at umalis na sa kusina.

Nang umalis s'ya, doon pumasok ang plano kung paano ko gagawin ang plano ko.

I smirked once more and took a last sip from my wine.

Pumunta ako sa kwarto ko at saka kinuha ang diary ko. I know it sounds childish and irrelevant but this diary has been with me since I was 12. I've written everything that has happened to me ever since I got it. Siyempre may lock ito at malapit nang mapuno.

Malaki rin ito kaya hindi siya napuno agad.

Hindi ako nagsusulat araw-araw, nagsusulat lang ako kapag ramdam kong kailangan ko maglabas. Binuksan ko ang libro at nagsimulang magsulat. After a while, my hand started to cramp but I was done.

I'm so excited. Once they're gone, you'll be mine.
