You were in guyun stone forest with a box in your hand as you were going to meet someone

Well, it all started when you met beidou, captain of the Crux (a/n: and fine as hell 😩)

How did you know beidou? Well, back at liyue harbor, she was your drinking partner in liyue and you hanged out with her a lot

She also introduced you to someone called kadehara kazuha, a samurai fugitive from inazuma that boarded her ship.

You slowly started to be friends with kazuha and he was a nice listener, always gave you the best advice

So now you wanted to return the favor by surprising him for his birthday

You knew that kazuha wouldn't be in the Crux during this hour, so you were going around guyun stone forest in hopes of finding him

Yes, you did accidentally triggered the nine ruin guards but at least you beat them up like a breeze~

As you were finding the inazuman samurai, you then heard a beautiful tune

It was coming from the right as you followed the beautiful tune

There, you see a man with white hair and a red streak in his hair, whistling with a leaf as he sat down on a rock

"That's beautiful, kazuha" you said with a soft smile as the tune stopped, as kazuha turned his head towards you and smiled, with the gentle smile he always carried

"Ah, Y/N. Looks like my hunch was right. There was a familiar scent upon the wind" Kazuha said as he looked at the box you were holding

"It seems you remembered...." he said as his gaze softened. "Of course I did" You said as you sat down next to kazuha

You then handed him the present. "Here and please don't refuse it" you said, as kazuha chuckled

"Alright, I won't" he said as he opened the box

He opened the lid, revealing a instrument as kazuha was confused, never seeing this in his life

You just chuckled at his reaction. "I noticed how you always make beautiful tones with just a leaf, so I wondered 'why not give you a real instrument?'" You said

"It's called the Floral Zither, a instrument that looks like a guitar but sounds like a lyre at the same time. I don't know much about music so excuse me for that..." you said, scratching the back of your head

Kazuha chuckled before taking the Zither and placing his fingers onto the string

He strummed it, making a beautiful tone. "You're already a natural at this, kazuha-" you said, before you were trapped with a hug that was tight, yet delicate

"Thank you, Y/N. I will cherish this with my life" he whispered as your eyes widened from the sudden hug, but softened as a soft smile came on your lips, before hugging him back

"You're welcome kazuha..." you whispered

" you're most certainly welcome..."
