Chapter 18: We Use The Power Of Dance To Avoid A Prison Sentence

Law blows his whistle. "Enough of this. Apprehend The Hero Trio."

Mayor Bourgeois and Chloe suddenly get up from their seats as they're pulled through their cage door, their handcuffs dragging them in our direction. Thinking fast, Ladybug and I pick up the two and throw them outside the room, shutting the door and ignoring Chloe's muffled complaints.

Ladybug and I walk back to Cat Noir as all of us draw our weapons, ready to fight. 

"Alright, are we gonna do this the easy way or the fun way?" Cat Noir grins.

Order charges at Ladybug and I as she leaps up and kicks us both in the face, sending us flying into the walls. I groan and lift my head up, pushing spare debris off my shoulders and rolling out of the way before Law can shoot his handcuffs. Order swings her staffs at Cat Noir as he backflips away from her. 

"Here for a rematch, Tin Woman?" he smirks. 

"Trust me, fleabag, it's not going to be much of a match," she snarls. 

She swings her staffs at his head, barely missing him by a centimeter. But she catches him off guard. Order kicks his unprotected stomach and send him flying into the bookshelves. 

I instinctively jump to my feet. "Don't touch him!"

Without hesitation, I charge at her and twirl like a tornado, trying to land a hit to her armor. But shockingly, she blocks every attack I throw at her. In the blink of an eye, she whacks the center of my chest with the steel bars. The force propels my body through the wall behind me as I skid across the concrete below. 

I grit my teeth, ignoring the slight throbbing sensation spreading through my chest. I gasp for air as I stumble to my feet, wincing in slight pain.

"That's it," I growl. 

I grab four of the police fences laying on the floor and leap back through the hole. I wield them like katanas and angrily aim them at Law and Order. 

Ladybug and Cat Noir already grabbed heaping piles of heavy books, brandishing them like grenades. 

"You villains better check your shelf before ya wreck your shelf, "Cat Noir remarks. 

The three of us rapidly chuck the multiple books, police fences, shelves, chair, and table at Law and Order, finally distracting them to devise a plan. We run outside of the room to seek shelter. 

"So, where do you girls think the akuma is?" Cat Noir whispers. 

Ladybug's hand rests under her chin. "I don't know. We've never faced two villains before, not from the same time frame. There could be two akumas."

My head perks up. "Or maybe there's just one object that akumatized two people."

They both look at me in confusion. "What do you-"

Two pairs of gauntlets punch through the wall, grab our faces, and yank us back inside the room. 

"Found you," the two villains snarl.

And that's when I realize Law and Order are never gonna give us a second to think, let alone hide. But I also realize that in order to win, one of us needs to distract them for the other two to devise a plan.
