"I'll stay here for a week only. I have to go back immediately." Mat said in the middle of our dinner. It's his second day here.
"Why? Stay here for a month. I don't have a friend here. " I said.
"You have Kaia and Cali." He said and chuckled.
"Tsh. They're all busy. I don't know when will I start to find a perfect hospital. There's a bunch of hospital wanting to get me but, Claire said, I should wait for her. Also, Mom asked me to rest for awhile."
"Travel for awhile. Live your life. Free from stress."
"Hmm. I'll think about it. Let's go to a park later?" I asked.
"Sure." He smiled.
After eating ay pumunta nga kami sa park.
Umupo kami sa isang bench at sabay na tumingin sa madilim na langit.
"I know you know how lucky I am to have you, Mat." I said breaking the silence. "I hope you know that."
"I know, Ai." He replied.
"Thank you, for being with me, until now. Our friendship was unexpected, but I will treasure you and I will treasure all the bonds we had. Thanks for saving me, Doctor Davis." I said and hugged him.

"You're wrong, Aisha. You were the one who saved me." He said and I shook my head quietly with my tears slowly falling. I hugged him tighter and he chuckled. "Don't worry I wont leave."
"Promise." I whispered.
"Promise. I'll stay as your bestfriend forever. Even you love someone else and even you're keeping a promise to someone else that you love. I'll stay." He said and kissed my forehead. "I love you, Doctora Riego."
