AFTER A MONTH
Nagising kami ni Jade sa ingay nila Lil at Claire sa baba. Kumakanta sila at halatang nanandya!
"Hey! Shut up!" Jade shouted while I covered my face with a pillow. Sabado kasi ngayon kaya bumabawi kami ni Jade ng tulog.
Akala ko tatahimik na sila pero mas nilakasan lang nila ang tugtog at maya maya ay nandito na silang dalawa sa kwarto namin.
"Hey, wake up you sleepy heads."
Cali..Uhh, I miss Cali.
"What do you need, Lilian? I slept for only 2 hours because of reviewing. So, shut up!" Jade hissed.
Ako naman ay tumayo nalang at umupo sa kama at hinihintay ang sasabihin nila. They won't wake us up for nothing. They better be sure dshil kung wala, masasapak ko sila.
Habang nag aaway sila don ay minessage ko na si Enzo. We do this everyday. Walang lampas. We'll always greet each other good morning and if we both have time we'll call.
"Let's go out naman! Aren't you sick of Harvard? I wanna have fun." Claire said.
"Have fun?" I asked. "Seriously, Claire? Exam na natin next week."
"You're such a grade concious, cuz. We won't run out of tomorrow. Let's chill for a while."
Wala na akong nagawa dahil pati si Jade ay tumayo na rin para magbihis.
"San tayo pupunta?" Tanong ko kay Claire na kanina pa nakabihis.
"Harvard Square. Doon na din daw tayo kumain." Sabi niya.
Nagtwitter nalang din ako habang hinihintay si Lil at Jade.
"Kamusta ka na?" Biglang tanong ni Claire.
"Okay naman." I smiled.
"Lapit na birthday mo." She reminded.
"Ahh, oo nga e. I don't have plans." Agad kong sabi.
"Ai, you're not just here to study, I mean you are--but have fun naman. Enjoy college." She adviced. I just smiled at her and she sighed.
How can I enjoy something I don't like in the first place?
"Hey! Let's go. Vance and Vanessa will come with us daw. Nasa lobby na sila." Sabi ni Lil.
Vance and Vanessa are one of our classmates. They're siblings but Vance is older than Vanessa, though Vanessa advanced to college.
