The wolves were barricading the house and the Cullens were starving. Oriana wasn't that happy with Bella and the hunger made her even more upset. She hadn't eaten much since her sister's passing and not being able to go out and hunt to keep herself thriving wasn't helpful.

Oriana was shivering in her chair with music playing to keep herself occupied.

She felt empty, there was nothing to do since she couldn't hunt nor go for a regular walk.

Everyone was downstairs doing research on the baby and watching over Bella.

Alice came up the stairs and knocked on Oriana's door.

"May I come in?" She asked.

"Mhm..." Oriana whispered.

Alice cracked open the door and walked in.

Oriana was sitting in her chair clutching her legs. The music player was on, her bed undone, and everything else turned off.

"Mind telling me what's upsetting you?" She asked walking over to Oriana's bed and picking up a blanket. She placed it on Oriana's shoulders and wrapped it around her.

"How's Bella?" She asked.

Alice took a breath, "Her rib is cracked and....she..."

"Alice tell me." She whimpered.

"Her heart will give up before she delivers." Alice said sadly.

"She wants to keep it doesn't she." Oriana said through gritted teeth.

"Ori calm down..." Alice immediately covered her mouth.

"Only Victoria calls me that." Oriana whispered.

"I know, I'm not sure what I was thinking, I'm so sorry." Alice apologized.

"But I'll give you the exception and let it slide because I'm not in my right state of mind right now." She whispered to Alice.

"Thank you," Alice whispered back pulling Oriana in for a hug and clutching her.

Oriana went wide eyed then felt safe while in Alice's clutch. She smiled feeling the safest she's been in a long time.
