Chapter 27 ~ Jacob's News

Oriana was walking around the house until she smelled wolf stench.

"Oh my god," Oriana said plugging her nose.

She decided to listen into the conversation from afar.

"Bella what do you want? Seriously." Jacob asked.

"I know this seems like a scary thing, but it's not....it's like this miracle or something." Bella told Jacob.

Oriana dropped her glass.

Rosalie sped over to her and started cleaning up the glass on the floor with a dust pan.

"Why'd you drop the glass?" Rose asked.

"Lost my grip." Oriana replied.

"Sure you did." Rosalie whispered back with a smirk.

"Aren't you supposed to be looking after Bella?" Oriana asked throwing glass into the garbage.

"Mutt is in there." Rose scoffed.

"Of course..." Oriana whispered.

"I'm going to go check if he's done in there." Rosalie placed the broom against the kitchen island and sprinted into the other room.

Edward came back into the house letting us know the wolves were going for Bella.

Not too long after Jacob came inside letting us know the plan.

"Sam's lost the element of surprise and he doesn't want to take you on outnumbered, so he's not going to come at you head on. He's got the place surrounded and he'll wait for his opportunity." Jake explained.

"We won't get through without a fight." Emmett commented.

"No fights, we won't be the ones to break the treaty." Carlisle fired back at Emmett.

"The treaty is void, at least in Sam's mind." Jacob replied.

"Not in ours." Esme responded.

"Carlisle, no one has hunted for weeks." Emmett pointed out.

Oriana had a headache throughout the entire conversation.

"You've done us a great service Jacob, thank you." Carlisle thanked.

Jacob gave a small nod.

Oriana's eyes were squeezed shut with her hand resting on her palm.

Alice massaged her shoulders, "you alright?"

"Yeah, just a headache." She replied.
