Maila's POV.

I stop in an open area. I look around and saw no one. I went to one of the benches and from there, I cried my heart out.

Wala namang nakakakita eh.

My elbows on my knees while I cover my face with my both hands.

Only the sounds of chirping birds and swaying leaves are the things I can hear.

A moment later, I heard some foot steps then it stop in front of me.

I slowly remove my hands on my face and saw a pair of polished leather shoes on the ground.

I automatically look up to see who it was but a hand holding a handkerchief appeared on my view.

I look at the person and saw that it was Sir Charlie. He look a bit worried when he saw my eyes covered with tears.

I open my mouth to speak up but no words came out.

" You don't have to say anything. Just accept it." he gently said.

A tear fell on my right eye as I blink. The way he said it, it brings comfort to me. I accept the handkerchief before looking down and continue to cry again, this time silently.

" You don't have to restrain yourself, just cry as if I wasn't here." he said.

At dahil dun, tumalikod ako sakaniya at nagsimulang umiyak na parang bata na nagtratrantrums.

I felt his eyes was piercing at the back of my head. It makes me feel uneasy so I tell him, " D-Don't look at me!" I said pouting.

" I wasn't looking." he denied.

" I can feel your gaze, you know." I said sniffing and rolled my eyes.

I heard him shifting his posture.
" Fine, I won't look." he said in a light tone.

I started to calm myself and wipe my tears using the handkerchief I borrowed from him.

He was leaning against the backrest of the bench while crossing his arms. I surveyed his face and I was a bit surprise when I saw both of his eyes are closed.

'When he said he won't look, he really did mean it.' I thought to myself.

After I composed myself, I folded the handkerchief nicely and cleared my throat before speaking. " You can look now." I awkwardly said.
