Trigger and Content Warnings

I'm going to be changing what I usually do and NOT putting warnings at the top of each chapter. Instead I will tell you here what you should look out for for the entire book.

There are extensive themes about consent in this book, and the sub-story of the screenplay describes a time before the sexual revolution when non-consensual sex, and abuse of omegas and females was standard practice.  Some of the scenes in the screenplay, and some of the referenced content does include rape.  It will be very few chapters in the book overall, but consent is a central theme.

I try to always consider what would be difficult or triggering for people to try to be as sensitive as possible for those with sexual trauma (almost half of adult women in America, a huge percentage of non-binary and plenty of men, too). Therefore the scenes are often described from a physical distance or the reader is distanced from the action in different ways to try to be less triggering.

The point of these scenes is to further advance the agenda of consensual sex and equal rights between men and women/nonbinary.  It is never used gratuitously or glorified EVER in my books!

Other Trigger or Content Warnings that will appear in most chapters:

Adult Language

Coming Out/Accepting Sexuality

Sexual imagery/fantasizing/feelings OR short sexual scenes

Angst

Intense psychological turmoil

And in Some Chapters:

Explicit Sex

Mental Anguish

Losing Virginity

****If anything else triggering occurs that I didn't include here, I will list it at the top of the chapter headings. If you read the author's notes I will also give some warnings of triggering content that may be coming in the next chapter. But by-and-large I will not be doing trigger warnings at the top of each chapter.****
