"I got it"

Jennie left the living room to check out.

Doris came in with a bunch of grocery bags.

"Hey Doris!" I waved her.

"Hey Abel! You're awake!"

I frowned at her. Jennie nudged her not to mock me any more today as I had enough already.

I helped Doris to carry the bags in to the kitchen.

"Thanks Abel!"

I smiled politely in return. Jennie slouched on Doris.

"Hey Dorrrrr"

"Can you make us dinner?"

She asked with a puppy eye. Doris chuckled back.

"I do it every day Jen!"

"Don't act like you carry out the whole house"

It made me laugh.

"You guys watch TV"

"Meanwhile, I'll prepare you dinner"

She said and went in the kitchen unpacking the stuffs.

We decided to play some board games.

"What game shall we pick?"

Katie asked scratching back her head. There were tons of board games in front of us.

"What about monopoly?"

"Aah.. I don't wanna waste my life in it" I replied.

Jennie leaned back and looked pretty excited.

"Guys!! What about Ouija?"

She smirked.

I slapped her lap in aggression.

"What the fuck?"

"You know we're going through it already"

"I can't believe how you keep it cool, Jen"

She chuckled back and said "It was just a joke!"

I sighed and Katie did the same.

"Fine! Let's play ludo" Katie concluded picking up the ludo board.

We were playing ludo. We played 5 matches. It was a draw between me and Katie. Jennie won once.

We closed the game as we heard Doris calling us.

"Almost there!"

We packed the gaming stuffs to their original box and went to the dining room.

We carried the dishes from kitchen to the dining room.

It was Mac n Cheese and Alfredo. We had our dinner together. After completing it, we helped Doris in washing the dishes and cleaning the table.

"So, what next?"

Doris stretched her arms out.

"What about hide and seek?"

We three exchanged our looks in sarcasm.

"Aren't we old enough to play it?"

I nudged Katie to stop acting like an adult.

"Kate"

"It's a really good game for every ages, I guess"

"We haven't played it for a while"

"This must be freakin' interesting!!!"

We all agreed to play hide and seek.

"Who's gonna be the seeker?"

"Rock, paper, scissors?"

I nodded. Everyone brought in their hands to find the seeker.

It was Jennie.

"Dang it!"

"I don't wanna be a seeker"

"But you are Jen, let's start the game"

She sighed and shrugged.

"Finee"

Doris said the rules to play hide n seek.

"Both down and upstairs can be occupied, and others you know"

We cheered up and left the hall. Jennie turned back towards the wall to close her eyes and started counting.

I saw Katie running through upstairs and Doris went across the stairs.

I went inside the laundry room which was on the side of living hall. It was quite dark but I managed to see through. I saw a door in that room. It was pretty neat.

"Y'all ready?"

"I'm gonna come searching!!!"

Jennie yelled running through the stairs.

I thought that it was only me hiding in the downstairs. After sometime, I heard Jennie screaming.

"Doris! you're out!!"

"Gotcha!!!!"

Jennie had to find two more to complete the game.

She came downstairs. She was running around the living room and the kitchen. I saw her running past the laundry room. I thought I need to hide somewhere else. I decided to go in the room as I heard slow footsteps approaching the place where I was in. I opened the door behind me. It was literally dark. It had a staircase.

She was coming closer to the room. I stopped my hesitation and went straight down to the stairs, closing the door behind me. I breathed out.

 I breathed out
