↠ C . 48

The 3 teenagers made way to them "Jaemin is that you?" one of them spoke"and look at that, you seem to have a girl" 

"What do you want Sunwoo?" Jaemin spat out, his tone deepening in detest. The boy named Sunwoo shrugged his shoulders "Nothing. She's quite cute though." he tilted his head to get a better view of her.

Jaemin inhaled trying to keep calm. He didn't want to cause a scene especially because Taeyeon was there. There were three of them and he knew for a fact that the boys were quite skilled fighters.

"I'm not looking for a fight," Jaemin calmly spoke while pushing past them. But as he did his grip with Taeyeon was let loose. He turned around to see Eric holding her.

The girl tried to pull away but failed miserably. Jaemin's eyes widened when Eric began to caress her cheek to piss of Jaemin purposely. He felt fumes of anger raise in his body.

"Don't touch her" his voice went deep and threatening. Taeyeon glanced at Jaemin and felt shivers down her spine just by looking at his intimidating gaze.

Hwall laughed and punched the boy lightly on his chest "Wonder why you like her so much." he leaned in and whispered "She good in bed" he tested Jaemin's patience wanting to rile him up.  Jaemin didn't hesitate any further and launched at the boy. Hwall's jaw flew to the side but Jaemin didn't stop. He punched him again and again ignoring the words shouting behind him.

His body was pulled back by Sunwoo who trapped Jaemin's arms to stop him from moving. Hwall screamed in anger and punched Jaemin in the stomach. Taeyeon couldn't do anything but watch as they beat the boy. She proceeded to pull away from Eric's grip but he didn't let go.

Taking a deep inhale she bit the boy's arms really hard, marking indents in him. Hwall and Sunwoo glanced at their friend who was screaming. Taking this as an opportunity, Jaemin kicked Hwall in the stomach causing the boy to fall onto the ground in agony.

Taeyeon didn't stop there, she walked forward and lifted her leg at high speed and drove to the area where the sun doesn't shine. "Ahhhh you fucking bitch" he yelled towards Taeyeon.

She didn't regret the slightest and faced Jaemin who jabbed Sunwoo in his face with his elbow. He jogged towards Taeyeon and grabbed her hand . Without looking back he held the girl's hand and ran. They both ran fast. Voices could be heard screaming behind them. The boys were also chasing them, their footsteps could be heard but the two ran. They didn't waste a second to glance back

Jaemin took another turn around the corner and sprinted towards an abandoned book shop. Carefully they both snuck in the gap between the shop and a brick wall.

Their backs faced the stacked up crates hiding from those boys. There wasn't much space for both to be hidden so Taeyeon had no choice but to sit on Jaemin's lap. Nothing was heard but their heavy unrhythmic breaths

"Are they gone?" Taeyeon whispered but her mouth was shut closed by a hand smacked on her lips. Voices were heard on the quiet roads.

"Where did they go! I swear down when I find that bitch I'm gonna fucking kill her. I can't believe she kicked me" Eric grunted slightly, still in pain. Taeyeon couldn't help but giggle. Jaemin looked at her and smiled at her laughing state but he clasped his hand tighter around her mouth to prevent them from hearing anything.

"They can't be that far. Let's go" their shouts and screams became faint indicating that they left. Slowly Jaemin let go sighed after the voices disappeared.

"Who are they?" a breathy whisper came out. "Rival gang. Small fights now and then" his voice lowered as he spoke. A few minutes passed and the roads remained quiet. No trace of distant voices or those boys were heard.

Taeyeon took a deep breath and tried to stand up but failed when she felt two hands on her hips holding her down. "Let's stay a little longer just in case" he said slowly. His voice was deep and hoarse. Taeyeon couldn't help but not ignore her fast beating heart.

Jaemin's eyes stared deep into her hazel orbs. His eyes sparkled in the moonlight and so did hers.

The girl's heart beat fast at an uncontrollable speed. She could feel her blood coursing through her veins. Swarm of butterflies churned in her stomach.

"Stop it" she whispered, her gaze didn't leave his. She knitted her eyebrows and bit her bottom lip.

Jaemin raised his eyebrows "Stop what?" he questioned her. "Making my heart beat fast and giving me butterflies" she confessed

Jaemin's eyes widened by a fraction, smirking at her honesty he chuckled amused. Taeyeon realised what she just did and gasped. Mentally cursed herself. Jaemin was yet again amused by her reaction. He wasn't expecting her to say that.

He pulled her closer towards him, his hands still laid on her hips. His breath fanned against her lips. He tilted his head but held back the urge to kiss her. Gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes and wanted to look away from the gaze that laid on her soft plump lips.

But before he could turn away he was left in shock when a pair of soft lips landed on his instead.
