[Y/N POV]

Currently, I was watching Scaramouche yell at Childe for stealing his hat and holding it above his head [Childe]

I rested back with my arms bent against a table that was sitting by the wall.

"Come get it short stack, you can grab it" Childe teased

"Why the hell are you so tall?!? Hand it over now!" He yelled "I will kick your knees backwards I swear to-" I cut him off

"hold up! stop right there!" I stopped Scara from demolishing Childe by standing in between the two harbingers.

"Get out of the way! Im going to beat is ass either way y'know!" The boy said trying to shove past me. "I never said that I wasn't going to not let that happen" I laughed

This was a common occurrence when the two saw each other, Childe pissing Scara off. me getting in between them. Then helping Scara get back at Childe

I walked out of the way, stood away from Childe. Scaramouche seemed to notice what I was doing and acted accordingly. I silenced my footsteps and grabbed Scaramouche's hat. Snatching it from Childe's hands.

"Unfair! I wasn't done yet!" Childe said

"Ha! Tall freak! they have my back!" Scaramouche shoved the fact I took his hat back from him in his face

"here's your hat scara" I handed his hat to him

"Thank you" he took it and put it on

"Did I just hear the almighty balladeer say thank you?" I teased

"...Fine then I'll take that back"

"Aw cmon"

"Whatever"

Scaramouche walked away from Childe, while I walked behind him. he looked over at Childe who was appalled at the fact Scaramouche didn't attempt to attack him.

I mouthed a small 'goodbye' and a smile in Childe direction. Before I turned in Scara's direction and shut the door to the room in the Tsaritsa's castle we shared.

"Don't smile at him" Scaramouche said.

"And why is that?" I asked

"Are you..."

"No"

"Jealous~"

"No" he replied in a flat tone, as if he was stating something that was common sense.

"Haha I doubt that" I sat down at the desk

"Anyway I have to do some paperwork"

"Why?"

"I don't know actually it was given to me by some of our subordinates at Northland Bank"

Time had passed it was now 3:00 in the morning and I was still doing paperwork.

My vision began to blur so I blinked and continued what I was doing.

"[name]..." Scaramouche looked up from his book.

I didn't answer.

He got up from his place on the bed and walked over to the desk placing a hand on my shoulder I was so laser focused I didn't realize he was there.

"[name]" He said again in a more stern tone

I jumped back in my chair

"Oh! Woah...you scared me" I let out a light chuckle while looking at him

"It's 3 in the morning you need to sleep" he asked looking worried

"But I still-"

"I don't care. you need rest you can get it done in the morning" Scaramouche cut me off

I continued to protest against rest until the point where I was to tired to get out of my chair.

"This Is why you need to sleep" he picked me up out of the chair

I snuggled closer to his chest.

Reality is, I wanted to take a break from the work for him but I needed to get as much done as I could.

He put me down on the bed before he sat next to me

I shuffled close to him my head on his chest with my arms wrapped around him.

"Goodnight.." He smiled as he ran his fingers through my hair

"Goodnight Scara I love you.." I replied with a low muffled tone

"Yeah..Whatever..I love you too"
