"Dating Him"

Pumunta kami ni Zeus ng Grand Library para magreview sa exam. Dalawa lang kaming magkasama dahil may lakad si Jea.
Magkatapat ang upuan namin ni Zeus. He took a lot of books and he's even taking notes. Hindi ko talaga maiwasang hindi mapatingin sa kanya. He's shining whenever he focuses on his study.
Nahagilap niya ang tingin ko nang bigla niyang binaba ang libro at tinitigan din ako.
"Ano ba Z?" reklamo ko at nagsimula nang sumulat.
"Magrereview ba tayo o magtititgan na lang?"
tanong niya.
"Review," mahinang sagot ko.
Bumalik naman siya sa pagsusulat ng notes niya. Everyday I fell inlove with him again and again. Nagfocus na ako sa pagrereview. Hindi ko sana gusto mag review but Zeus insisted. Para kasi sa akin kung magrereview ako that means I did not catch up my past lessons. Kung kaya naman palang aralin one to three days before the exam bakit araw-araw pa akong nag-aaral? What's the sense? Pero paniniwala ko lang naman 'yon. I respect other opinions.
I only review on Statistics. Dito ako masyadong nahihirapan kaya I have to re-learn this one.
"Ang hirap naman," mahinang sabi ko.
Nagulat ako nang tumayo si Zeus at lumipat sa katabing upuan ko. He took my paper and wrote numbers.
"Example we're getting the mean from the sprinters running for certain time. This numbers 51 to 55, 56 to 60, and so on are called class intervals. In every interval we have five values so our width is 5," he explain.
I took another pen and paper to take notes.
"Then write it's frequency. Ito 'yong counts nang kung gaano karaming sprinters ang nakakuha ng time from the class intervals," he added.
I tried to focus and see how does it really works. Nagsolve rin ako nang sarili kong solution while following his lead.
"Then we'll get the midpoints of each intervals by getting the average of the lower and upper boundary of each class. Sum up all the midpoints. Then multiply each midpoint by each frequency. Sum up their products."
Ang bilis niya magexplain buti na lang at nakakahabol pa ako. Pinatapos niya ako sa paglalagay ng values sa table bago siya nagpaliwanag ulit. Buti naman at alam niyang hindi ako gaanong maka-catch up sa kanya.
"
Divide the summation of frequency times midpoint by the summation of midpoints. The answer will be the the mean of the grouped data."
Nakuha ko nga ang tamang sagot. We got the same mean. Mas magaling pa siyang mag-explain kay Cher Jacky. He patted my head.
"Well done Pup."
Nilingon ko naman siya kaya't nagkaharap kami. We're inches away and both stunned. No words were uttered. No actions been made. Bumibilis na naman ang tibok ng puso ko sa ginagawa niyang pagtitig sa akin.
He became flustered that he suddenly stood up and went back to his place. Kinuha niya ulit and libro niya't nagbasa. I smiled when I noticed his eyes constantly twitching. He can't concentrate. Binalik ko nalang ang atensyon ko sa pagrereview ng tinuro niya but I could still see him in my peripheral.
Panay ang sulyap niya sa akin kay itigil ko ang pagrereview.
"Magrereview ba tayo o magtititigan na lang?" pagbalik ko ng itinanong niya kanina.
