"Are you positive he knows you two are here?" The man asks urgency ringing through his words.

"I'm a young lady. Or that's what Izuku says. He also says even though I've never gone to school that I'm smart. He told me if things ever went wrong and we were separated to find him. Because father always knows where he is. But I remember once a long time ago when I was asleep. Izuku was crying next to me. He kept repeating words.

Father usually calms him down. Gives him kisses and hugs and rocks him back to sleep. But father wasn't there. He and tomura were on a trip. I woke up and hugged him to try and help. He woke up frightened and was confused but he hugged me close and-"

She stumbles over her words. "Father isn't a hero. I know that. He says he helps heroes but he also lies. That night brother whispered to me. He told me; 'when we get the chance to run. Go and never look back. And as much as it hurts, you must never find me again. Father knows where I am. He always does.'

Izuku doesn't lie. Not on purpose. Only to protect us. He's my hero and I love him. I also know he has a connection to father. It was forced on him like everything else but he took it and was brave. He would hate for me or tomura to go through what he does." Eri shakes pulling her legs up to her chest.

"I'm scared mr Aizawa. I'm only a child and if I find myself sad then what must that mean for brother? He must be so sad!" Tears bead at the corner of her eyes and she struggle to hold back.

Aizawa walks over to the child and crouches down. "You're right Eri. You are a child. And children shouldn't have to grow up as fast as you did. I know there's a lot going on, and you don't understand. I know you're scared and worried. But I will keep you safe." He watches the tears fall dripping onto her top. "Izuku will be safe too. He's going to be fine. We will find your father and help tomura okay?"

Eri nods sniffing occasionally. "I love my family mr hero. I just want my brother. I- I saw him at home and the last time I saw him- he-he," more tears fall as she hiccups. "He looked very bad. My brain kept telling me he's dead and I won't hear him again." She sniff clinging onto the mans sleeve. "I rested my head on his chest to make sure his heart was beating. I thought I would have to use my quirk but I don't know how. No one ever taught me. A-and what if you can't bring a dead person back? What if I couldn't reverse him! I'm scared, I want things you won't allow me to have. How long will I wait? It's been so long, and I find myself stuck here. Even you disappear sometimes." The girl trails off.

"I've had to make friends with the dark mr. Hero. But he's not good company."

Aizawa has to resist the urge to hurt whoever is responsible for these childrens upbringing. Yet instead he gently places a hand on the girls head.

"Please sir. I want my brother. Let me see him." Eri says tears falling constantly.

Aizawa keeps petting the girls hair, gently shushing her. He pushes her down and the lights dim around the room.

"Don't worry Eri. Izuku is safe. You are safe. I want you to see him but they won't let me into his room either."

Eri hiccups snuggling into the mans hand. That means the hero doesn't know how her brother is doing. Izuku could be hurt and he wouldn't know. That means Eri wouldn't know.

Izuku... she misses him so much. It's been too long since she's heard his happy voice. It's been too long since she's felt his warm embrace. Too long since he'd hugged her, too long since eating with him. It's been too long for her since he's actually moved. She really hopes that he's okay.

"I'll trust you Aizawa sir. Please don't hurt my brother." She whispers. The two share a quiet moment before it was shattered.

Loud shouts were heard outside. There was banging and heavy footsteps. They ran down the hall sounding as if they were being followed. Aizawa heard some of the nurses yelling trying to calm someone down.

"I swear to god I will not hesitate to kill you if you stop me!" A voice shouts getting louder and louder.

Eri immediately sits up snapping her head around. Her eyes flash awake and Aizawa wants to yell at whoever broke the peaceful minute. "Where is he?" She asks suddenly. "Who?" Aizawa says trying his best to block out the noise.

The foot steps stop and there's another bang. "Let me go!" The voice screams from the other side of the rooms walls. "Eri? Eri! Can you hear me?" It shouts. "What did you do to her?" The voice demands. "Why is she here let go or I'm calling my father!" It threatens.

Eri jumps out of the bed darting towards the door. Aizawa launches after her in a panic. "Eri? What are you doing can't you hear it's dangerous out there." He scolds. The girl ignores him pulling the door. "Brother! brother!" She yells eyes frantically searching for her brothers face.

Glowing toxic green eyes flash over to the girl. The boy stands hunched over panting while a few others, clearly the staff stand back scared by this feral child. The green eyes calm their rage as they scan the girl for injuries.

"Oh." He pants out. "Oh Eri thank god!" Her brother's voice sounds as he runs over. Izuku skids to the floor matching the girls hight. The two clash together embracing in a tight hug feeling as if they haven't seen each other in months. "I'm so sorry Eri, I've been a really bad brother." Izuku sobs his final walls crumbling to let in pain, exhaustion and trauma. "It's okay brother, I love you, I thought this was the moment you would want me to run, but I can't leave you!" Eri says braking into sobs herself.

Izuku pulls back a gently smile plays his lips even if they wobble slightly. He's looking like a different boy to the one who was screaming murder only a few seconds ago. "Oh Eri, no my darling I'm not asking you to leave me, but i have a plan." He says with a wobbly smile. "You do?" The girl asks tilting her head trying to pause her tears. Izuku giggles. "Of course I do, here." The boy holds out his hand showing the girl.

Eris face goes from confused to scared. "No no, it's too dangerous, brother please don't!" She begs shaking her head. "Shhh shhh I know baby," the boy says stroking the girls hair. "But it's the only way to stop him." The girl panics. "Just think of it as you helping me, although I'm not to sure on what the effects will be." He muses.

"Eri have you been having weird dreams? Ones that seem familiar?" Izuku questions. Eri nods. "I thought you might. Father's hold on us is weakening. I'm starting to merge with my former self. He helps me remember things. Father may love us but he took us from other people. And the other people loved us too. Well maybe they loved us, in their own way- I guess that's like father- but it's not the same- just, Ugh." Izuku slaps his face lightly.

"I was supposed to be with my mother and Kacchan and shochan." The girl perks up at the name. Izuku laughs. "I remembered who he was, and shochan. And of course," he says looking past the girl towards the scruffy hero. "I remember my real family. Hi shota." Izuku says softly with a smile.

"Nice to see you problem child. We've all missed you." The hero says back not moving from his perch on the doorframe.

"It's nice to break from the hold I've been in but it's only temporary. And honestly I think it was brought on my whatever you used to drug me." He says with a lopsided grin. "Had me real loopy for a while."
The hero shakes his head but a quite laugh follows. "Feeling good?" Aizawa asks. Izuku's face faulted but only for a moment. It was unfortunately a moment too long and Aizawa could spot it. "I feel alive."

Izuku doesn't mask the underlying problem of his words and neither does Aizawa with a face that says it all.
