Fresh Start

Progress~

I woke to hear birds chirping

It was nice to wake up like this

I stumbled out of bed and threw on my heavy iron boots

I then went down stairs to get a cup of water before starting my day

I headed out towards the desert and to my luck I found a temple

Digging down into it, I managed to get a saddle

I was so great-full for this as now I could finally get myself a horse

I headed back home to deposit my loot looking out for horses, on the way I caught a glimpse of a jet black horse through the trees and quickly ran towards it

I slowed as I got closer hoping to not spook it putting my hand out towards its face

It seemed to debate for a moment before leaning in towards my hand

I motioned towards the saddle Causing it to let out a small huff

I jumped onto its back thinking of a name

'Uh do you like theee nameeee.. Wendy?'

'I don't like that hmmm maybeeee uhhh Horse?' I laughed to myself before adding

'No no uhhhhhh how bout Ally?' I looked down the horse and she seemed to be showing her approval

'Okay then Ally let's go for a ride to the village' I explained heading towards the plains biome excited to have some company

We reached the village and I tied Ally up just outside

'Hello could I buy some books for my libary?' I asked the librarian villager

He nodded and handed me stacks of books I smiled payed and left heading back to Ally

'Do you reckon you can hold all this girl?' She scuffed her foot and layed her front legs down giving me access to the bag on her side

I put all the books in and headed into the market in the middle of the village

I managed to get a bunch of things so me and Ally headed home finally after a long day out

'Okay Al can you wait here whilst I set you up a place to stay?' She scuffed her feet once again in confirmation

I took a part of my roof off making it more detailed, it looked all slanted and cool so I kept it and left an overhang on one side as to put a little stable for Ally

I untied her and lead her into her new stable putting down some hay and a bucket of water I had got from the village

'Good girl Al imma head inside now okay?' I said stroking her

I headed inside going to my storage room and dropping of my stuff

I then headed too my room and took out my diary

I got my horse her names Ally, it's nice to have some company around here, Yknow what I'll give you a name diary cuz then it'll feel like I'm talking to more people. Okay so Danny, Danny the diary I managed to get some books Danny it's been a good day

I got myself up and headed over to the stables as I had forgotten the stuff I had got today in Ally's saddle

I grabbed out my books and the other stuff I had and headed back into my house

I decided to go out quick and get some more wood for book shelves before it was dark

I got the wood and quickly ran home getting to work, I made a hammer with a piece of stone and stick as to help me make things

I hammered the wooden shelving to the walls and set my books up on them

I had started on the second shelf however the first fell half way through

It took hours of working on the shelves but at least I had four shelves holding books on them (one wasn't straight but that didn't matter)

After that I put together a make shift troff for Ally which consisted of a few planks of wood hammered together

I headed out dragging it after me as Ally came behind me and pushed it to help

'Thanks girl' I said stroking her while catching my breath

I filled it up going into my kitchen with buckets of water

Finally it was full enough and Ally thanked me slightly so I smiled and left her be

I went into my room finally and fell asleep after all the hard work
