Fresh Start

Its a start~

I awaited the answer from the small piglin in-front of me as a small noise of disapproval came out

'Home' it squeaked pointing to it's small house on the other side of the lava

I just nodded knowing he'd be safest here

'I'll try to come back and see you at some point okay' I explained crouching down to pat him on the head giving him a smile as he hugged me

And so I headed off

No plan

No where to go

But No stress

Without a care in my mind I ran

The heat hitting my face

Remembering back to the wars

All the things I had to take part in

I never got to be a kid

I finally get my chance to be a kid

I noticed a large patch of soul sand ahead and took one step on

The usual feeling of weight from the slowness wasn't there

For once the souls didn't scream in pain

They seemed to allow me to run

I'm guessing They knew I finally got my happiness

So I ran and ran and ran some more

When I realized how far I had ran I nestled down

I was in the nether

And free

No matter how much I said it to myself it never really sank in

'I'm Free' I whispered out my breath turning to smoke from the heat of the warm lava

The next few days I spent walking

Until I decided it was far enough

I placed a few blocks of obsidian

Declaring this my new home

I headed to the over-world realizing I had became warmer when out in the open

I started to dig a small stair case down and grabbed a few pieces of wood while I was there

This was my new home

I had set up a small dirt box underground and stared a small basic mine next to my portal

I went mining for a while gathering resources and then headed back up and grabbed a-lot more wood

I ventured off too get some birch also, so I could started working on my house

While looking for the birch I had stumbled across a village very close to where I had set up

I dug out a large room underground and made it into a temporary mini storage room, there were chests & barrels layering the walls along with item frames due to having managed to get leather from trading

I had finished the room and realized it was very dark, so I headed to the nether and got some glow stone to brighten the place up a bit

Starting on my small farm and making a bedroom leading off my my storage room I began to hum a tune in my head

I headed to sleep for a bit seen as I hadn't in a few days.

After sleeping and adding some extra bits too my room I moved onto what I declared would be the living room area

I decided I'd have half my house underground half above

The upstairs was a small cabin like house a bit like Technos' old house but smaller

I had a kitchen and living room with a few books on my shelves

I then thought about what I could do for a bit of fun

'I'll make a diary sort of thing log my progress' I said excitedly to myself heading out to get the paper

'Thank you sir have a good day' I smiled to the villager who had gave me paper for an emerald and headed happily back to my house

Putting the papers together with a few strings I started writing

📔 Day 1 📔

~Today was a good day,
I started working on my house and it went well I made a living room and kitchen it's pretty basic for now but I can upgrade later down the line I think I'm going for an orange theme in my house, kinda reminds me of the warmth of lava

I set the book down on my cobblestone bedside table getting up

'Best make some food' I mumbled heading out to my farm where I grabbed some carrots and potatoes

Thanks to Phil and Techno always leaving on there trips Wilbur taught me to cook

Feels weird saying I'm thankful for that

But I am

I cut up the carrots and turned both them and potatoes into a soup mixing it together with a few herbs

I had read a book once about herbs and fungus

It taught me a lot about poisons from mushrooms

I finished up my meal and headed to sleep

'Tomorrows a busy day' I mumbled before drifting into a sleep
