Autumn

Nagising ako na yakap na ni Damon. When he said he'll stay here last night, he really meant it.

I smiled and looked at his handsome face peacefully sleeping.

Nakatitig lang ako sa kanya nang bigla siyang magising.

I immediately closed my eyes and pretend to asleep because of embarrassment.

I heard him chuckled before placing a soft kiss of my temple.

"Good morning love." He greeted.

I pouted then slowly opened my eyes and looked up at him.

He chuckled once more. "Why are you sulking again?" He teased me.

I glared at him. "You're not going to work?" I asked when I saw the wall clock. It's already 7:40 A.M. na kasi. Hindi ako papasok ngayon because of my swollen ankle. I texted our adviser na rin last night to excuse me muna and she said yes naman.

"Before I answer that, where's my good morning?" He said.

I pouted again. "Good morning."

He raised his brow. "Why does it feels like a force one?"

I sighed before hugging him back. "Good morning." I said with a sweet tone.

He hugged me tightly too kaya 'yong face ko nasa chest na niya. "Now, that's better." He said then placed another kiss on the top of my head this time.

"So papasok ka ba or hindi?" I asked him again kasi mukhang nakalimutan na niya.

Niluwagan niya 'yong pagkakayak sa'kin then he looked at me. "No. I'll stay here with you until you're fully recovered."

I creased my forehead. "But I'm fine na. I can handle myself na rin."

He shook his head. "No, you're not yet okay. Don't be stubborn love and let me just take care of you."

I can't help but to smile with his response. He's really the sweetest person I've ever known.

I was about to say something but my phone rang kaya hindi ko na natuloy.

"Can you give it me?" I asked kasi siya 'yong nasa malapit sa bedside table.

He grabbed my phone then gave it to me after checking who's calling.

I furrowed my brows when I saw Gayle's name. I remembered telling her naman kagabi na hindi ako papasok ngayon, bakit kaya?

"Gayle." I said upon answering. At naupo sa kama.

"Have you heard the news?" She said making me confused.

"What news?"

"Kakagising mo lang no? Check mo GC na'tin. Pero before that, sasabihin ko na lang para maspoil ka." Then she laughed. "Camilla and her friends got expelled." She excitedly said.

"Huh? Bakit daw?" I asked.

"Don't know if it's true but ang bali-balita because of bullying daw. Well, that serves them right. Ang yayabang kasi nila. Mga feeling magaganda." I know how irritated she is to them. Gigil na gigil siya sa mga ito na one time hindi niya na napigilan ang sarili at sinabunutan na si Camilla sa sobrang inis.

"I can't talk to you longer kasi nandiyan na si ma'am. Balitaan na lang kita later. Bye sis. Get well soon. I miss you already."

"Okay, thank you. Miss you too."

I ended the call then looked at Damon seriously. I have a feeling na may kinalaman siya sa nangyari kaya kinuha niya ang mga pangalan ng mga ito. I don't want to judge him because I have no proof kaya tatanungin ko na lang siya.
