Me: 🖕 I do have some job. Two actually, I'm doing one right now.
Keith: Idgaf. Park. 8am, hoe.
Pico knew there was no point in arguing further so he typed a simple OK and left it at that. Normally, Sundays we were reserved for his more dangerous services, but he didn't actually have to meet with anyone this week, so it was fine this time.

At the Dearest family mansion, Jenna and Keith sat on the living room sofa, watching TV together. Jenna sat up right while Keith layed across the couch with his head in her lap, Jenna running her fingers through his cyan hair.
He smirked to himself, proud of the plan he'd conjured in his head, while Jenna was still stumped, trying to find a way to outplay her boyfriend. She heard healed footsteps coming down the stairs, seeing her mother walk into the room. Out of respect and maybe a little bit of fear, Keith sat up and greeted her.
"Hi, Mrs. Dearest." He smiled.
"Hello, Keith! So nice to see you. I'm glad you're here, I need help from both of you." She said, taking out a box the size of her hands and showing it to them.
"Is that for dad?" Jenna asked.
"Yup! It's for our anniversary. I need you two to help me hide it from him until our anniversary vacation next week. He's gotten very close to finding it too many times. I don't want him to ruin the surprise." Juliet explained nervously.
"Won't he come to Jenna asking where you hid it?" Keith questioned.
"He doesn't know I have this yet. If he did, he'd be tearing this house apart looking for it. Put it somewhere even I wouldn't think to look. Somewhere far away. I'll let you know when to bring it back to me." She instructed.
The young couple nodded and she left the room.
"Let's keep it at your apartment." Jenna suggests.
"Hell no!" He exclaimed.
"But it's the perfect place! My dad would never think to look there." She argued.
"Your dad hates me. What if, by some chance, he finds out that something belonging to him is in my possession? He'd quite literally light me on fire!"
Jenna though that he was just being dramatic. She set the gift in his lap and crossed her arms."My dad doesn't hate you. If he hated you, he would've obliterated you long ago. He's just...sceptical of you."
"I put nothing past a family of demons."
"Hey, that's racist!" She shouted, flicking his forehead and turning that spot red.
"Ouch! What'd I tell you about flicking me?" He flicked her back in her forehead.
"Ow! Jerk!" She flicked him again. The two were now engaged in a flick fight, which soon turned to slapping each other amidst laughter and giggling.
They finally stopped after about a minute.
"You're taking that present to your apartment. End of discussion." She said sternly before getting up to enter the kitchen.
"Tch, no the hell I'm not-"
"What was that?"
"Yes, dear!"
As she rummaged through the cabinets to find a snack for them, she recalled the words her mother spoke. Her parents always went on a vacation to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
"That's it!" She whispered, taking out her phone and calling (Y/N).

(Y/N) POV
My mind was mostly blank. Only filled with questions and somewhat worried.
I wanted a snack, but I was too worried about coming into contact with Markus. If he was still upset, I didn't want to make it worse by being annoying.
I heard my ringtone as my phone gently vibrated across the night stand. Jenna's picture showed and I swiped to answer.
"Yo!" She yelled.
"Hi."
"You sound sad. Again."
"A little bit." I looked down at my feet, curling my toes a bit. I could hear her sigh before speaking.
"Wanna meet me and Keith at the park?" She offered with more care and softness in her voice.
"I-I don't know if I can..." I say quietly, getting up to approach the door.
"What's stopping you?" She inquires. I walked slowly down the hallway and stop at the balcony above the living room, looking down to see Markus watching a movie. I immediately turned back quietly and shut the bedroom door.
"Hello? (Y/N)?"
"Head to the park. If I don't show up, in 30 minutes, come over here."
"This sounds sketchy. Tell me what's wrong." She demands, but I hang up without a response.
I throw on a jacket and shoes before making my way downstairs. Markus spots me and pauses the movie."Where are you off to? And without speaking to me?"
"I'm going to meet my friends at the park."
"Friend, you say. No real friends would ever take you to such a disgusting club, would they?"
"They are my friends, and I'm going to meet them-" I turn and try to open the front door, but he slams it shut from behind me.
I expect to hear him say something about my friends, or even yell at me, but I didn't expect him to grab me.
He snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me closer, closing the gap between us and resting his chin on my shoulder.
"You were gone for so long earlier. I'm not ready to part with you so soon." He mumbles, pressing his lips to my neck a few times. This sent shivers down my spine.
Part of me likes it, but the rest of me wanted him to let go. I tried resisting, but he only held me tighter, growling a little when I tried pulling away.
His kisses grew more passionate and forceful. My eyes didn't leave the door knob. I wanted so badly to leave. But his warmth kept drawing me in closer until eventually, I gave in.
I allowed myself to be carried away.
