You both went on your separate ways a year and a half ago. You found yourself and Taylor found someone else. They are not together anymore. Tay never really could forget about you, she couldn't pretend that she doesn't have feelings for you.

It was hard for you to get over her, it was one of the hardest things you've ever experienced but somehow you were able to slowly focus on different things. You found love somewhere else, you found another girl who treated you the way Taylor never did. You thought you finally found your happy place, your forever. But that was not true at all. There were a lot of red flags, a lot of signs that you should leave her but you ignored all of them. You couldn't help it, you were in love (even tho it felt so wrong to have feelings for another woman).

But everything has changed. She changed. She fell in love with little thin white lines. You were there for her, you did everything you could but clearly it wasn't enough. She broke up with you in a 2-lined text message. That was all you got after 9 months.

"It's over. I'm sorry. I'm not ready for a relationship."

But she lied. She was together with a boy, she was with him even when you were together. You felt yourself pathetic, betrayed, angry. And yes, yours and Taylor's relationship wasn't sunshine and rainbow either but you knew that she would've never done this to you.

Since a twist of fate, you started talking again with Tay. You talked about your relationship, the good old times, the memories you share together, the songs you used to listen together and you also talked about the ones she wrote for you. You also discussed the bad things, everything that was wrong back then. You were finally able to communicate with each other. You talked everything through and started to set up friend dates again. You were happy. Truly happy, because she was back in your life. Not as your lover but her friendship meant also a lot to you.

You've changed and she could tell you've changed. You weren't the girl she knew 3 years ago but she liked the new you. You were a complete different person. So she was...
She became smarter and more mature but you knew that you could never love her like you did before. You had a feeling that she wants more than friendship with you but you avoided it. You just didn't want to face the fact that you could lose her. Again.

Sadly, she decided to confess her love for you. Of course you loved her back, she was your first real lover, your first kiss, your first "everything". But she was your very first heartbreak too. You remembered the suffer and the pain all too well. You just didn't want her to put you through it all again.

So here you are, you're strangers with Taylor again but it doesn't hurt anymore. You've realized that you make better strangers than you guys ever did anything else. Yes, you were alone but you were fine with the thought that alone will be something you'll be quite a lot. That's okay, that's how life is. All that mattered was that you could let her go and you were finally healed.

Author's note:
I'm sorry that it took so long to make a part two of this one. It was based on my own experiences and wanted to wait 'til I have a proper ending for this chaotic love story of mine. Even if it's a different kind of happy ending, I hope you enjoyed it (:

also, I'm taking requests, loves, so feel free to message me or leave a comment here ‹3
