Christmas break was over. Sirius and James were rushing to get everything together because they had forgotten to pack the night before.
"JAMES, SIRIUS WE ARE LEAVING IN 5 MINUTES AND IF YOU AREN'T READY BY THEN SO HELP ME!"
Both the boys rushed to get their bags down the stairs. James immediately stopped. He was going to see Regulus today, he didn't know what he would say... what do you say in that situation 'hey Reggie long time no talk I peiced together that your a death eater by your letter but don't worry no hard feelings'
"Prongs you alright?"
"I'm alright Pads let's go before my mom kills us"
He didn't expect it to hit him that hard. Seeing Regulus again, he was pale... paler than normal and he had heavy eye bags you could tell he wasn't sleeping. All rational thought flew out the window because all he needed was to know that Regulus was okay.
"Reg mate you okay? You look like death herself" Barty was worried you could clearly tell why he put a hand on Regulus' cheek inspecting Regulus' eye bags and pale skin. "Did something happen over Christmas?! I swear I'll kill your whole family if they-"
Regulus hated himself, he hated the mark on his arm, and the fact that he had kept watch while his cousin went into a house and killed innocent people. All he wanted to do was see James but he didn't know if he could face him... did he get the letter? Did he know what Regulus had meant?
"We should get on the train-" He needed to get out of the situation he didn't know if he could tell Barty what he had done.
"Ya alright... I'm here if you need me you know?"
"Reggie...." James' voice made Regulus whip his head around.
"Um- I'm gonna go to our compartment and leave you guys to talk" Barty walked away smiling Jegulus will come to be soon.
James standing there in front of him had made him break. He started silently crying. James panicked and dragged Regulus into an empty compartment.
"Hey- hey I'm here okay don't cry please." James pet Regulus' hair as they hugged.
"I'm sorry James"
