The requester asked to remain anonymous

"I'm going to the store." I announced as I grabbed my bag.
"I wanna go with you." Jin spoke up, not leaving his spot on the couch.
"Come on, then."
I groaned. "I don't feel like it."
"You just said you wanna go with me."
"Yeah but I don't wanna walk."
I sighed and held my palm out. Jin sat up, his eyes sparkling.
In an instant he was in his sugar glider form and was launching himself into the air towards my hand. I caught him with ease, placing him on my shoulder.
"You're the laziest person ever." I muttered.
Jin let out a small squeak in response.

Once we got to the convenience store, Jin slid into the pocket on my shirt. It was one of his favorite places to be when we left the house.

I moved around the store, perusing the items, picking up whatever I thought we needed. I stopped, grabbing a bag of my favorite snack. Jin must have heard the crinkling because I heard a squeak from my pocket not long after. I glanced down and saw him glaring up angrily at me. Even in his sugar glider form I could clearly see he was upset.
"Fine." I sighed. "I'll get you something too."
Having been satisfied, he wiggled around inside my pocket, getting himself settled once again.
Eventually, I ended up in the fresh fruits and vegetables aisle. There was a dish Jin and I had discussed attempting to make and we needed a few ingredients.
My hand hovered over the tomatoes as I searched for the right one. As my hand passed one of the medium sized ones, a small squeak resounded from my pocket.
"What?" I inquired, glancing into my shirt pocket.
Jin looked up at me, not making any more noise until my hand passed over the same tomato.
"You want me to pick this one?"
He nodded.
Jin continued to make noise when my hand passed over the "best" ingredient.
"You're cooking since you so meticulously picked out the ingredients." I told him.

When we got back home, I took Jin out of my pocket, allowing him to shift into his human form. I expected him to go flop down on the couch since he was feeling so lazy, but he didn't. To my surprise, he helped carry the groceries inside. He even helped me put everything away, except for the ingredient we were planning to use tonight.
"Now this is perfect." Jin smiled, looking down at the ingredients spread across the countertop.
"It better be, because I'm not going back to the store. Not today, anyway."
"I'll get started, you go watch tv or something." He ordered, pushing me out of the kitchen.
"Hey!" I called out. "You can't kick me out."
"You said I would be the one cooking, so I need you out of the kitchen."
"Fine." I sighed, trudging towards my room.
I know I told Jin he would be cooking, but I didn't appreciate being forced out of the kitchen.

Instead of going to my room, I ended up going to Jin's. I wasn't planning on going in there until I saw the most horrid mess in his bedroom as I passed by. I immediately turned around and stepped inside, my eyes going wide at the disarray. His room was the messiest I had ever seen. His bed was unmade and there were clothes strewn about, covering the majority of the floor.
"Unbelievable." I sighed.

The first thing I did was pick up all the dirty clothes and put them into a laundry basket, then I made his bed, throwing away wrappers that were tucked between the sheets in the process.
I assumed I had burned quite a bit of time tidying up Jin's room. I left it in much better condition than I found it and I'm sure Jin will be thankful for what I did.
I carried the laundry basket out of Jin's room and into mine, deciding to go ahead and wash a load of laundry. With the amount of clothes I found in his room, I knew after adding my own things in I would have a full load.

The laundry had been washed and put into the dryer and Jin was still cooking.
He had been in the kitchen for a while and while I trust him to cook on his own, I felt the need to check on him. So that's what I did.
When I stuck my head in the room, I saw him with his cheeks stuffed as full as they could be and his hand in a bag of his favorite snack.
"What are you doing?" I asked, causing him to jump.
"Hey, you're not supposed to be in here."
"I'm not. My head is." I pointed out.
He narrowed his eyes at me.
"Why are you eating?" I asked.
"I got hungry, okay? I needed a snack."
"While cooking?"
"Don't judge me. Now leave." He pointed.
I groaned, leaving the kitchen once again.
I was thankful when the dryer cut off because that meant I had something to occupy my time while Jin finished dinner or whatever he was doing.
Once the laundry was folded and put away, Jin finally came to get me.

"Dinner is ready."
"It's about time."
"Hey." He frowned. "I put all my love into it."
"Aw." I cooed, ruffling his hair, making sure to scratch behind his ears for a moment. "I'm sure you did."
I followed him into the dining room where he had two plates sitting on the table, a glass of water accompanying each dish. I even noticed a couple lit candles.
"What is this?" I chuckled.
"Dinner." He responded softly, his ears slightly red. "I wanted to make it special since it took me so long to cook."
I pulled him into a hug, my cheek squished against his chest.
"Thank you, Jin. That's very nice of you."
"Why don't we sit down? I really wanna know what you think of the food."
I pulled away from the hug and took a seat at the table, the delicious scent drifting to my nostrils.
"Oh wow. This smells really good."
Jin watched excitedly from across the table, anticipating my reaction as I got a forkful of the savory morsel. Once I tasted it, I couldn't help but go back for a second bite.
"What do you think?" Jin inquired, practically bouncing in his seat.
"That. Is. Incredible."
"You think so?"
"I know so. This tastes like something right out of a five star restaurant. I mean, I wouldn't know what that tastes like because I've never been to one, but this is what I imagine the food would taste like."
I could see Jin trying to hold back his smile, but it didn't work. A bright and proud grin broke out onto his features, his eyes crinkling as his smile grew.

After dinner, I helped Jin clean up and wash dishes, even though he told me I didn't have to.
I placed the last few dishes in the dish washer and closed it up. When I dried my hands off, I felt Jin's arms wrap around me from behind.
"Thank you for helping me." He murmured.
"Thank you for making dinner."
He chuckled, burying his face in my shoulder.
"Can we cuddle in your bed and watch funny videos after this?"
"Yes we can."

The two of us may tease each other, but we care a lot for each other and at the end of the day, we're still super close and wouldn't trade our friendship for anything.

IMPORTANT ‼️
I was recently notified by a couple nice readers that my works have been reposted on a fan fiction website without my knowledge or consent. That includes my ATEEZ Imagines as well.
I don't know if I can name them directly in this chapter because, though they copy everything, they can go in and change things such as if you mention that your work is exclusive to W*ttp*d. They'll go in and change it to their website name to make it seem like you're posting on their site.

If you write fan fiction on this app, your works are most likely on one of the two sites. Maybe even more.

If any of you see my work outside of this app on a website, it's NOT supposed to be there and I most likely have no knowledge of it.
