The growls from the cranks got louder as they got closer to me. I managed to push myself a bit faster and the distance between me and the people slowly got shorter.

After a minute or so I noticed what they were running towards, it was a broken-down building that had several floors to it. They were way closer than me, but I still kept on running. Lightning struck and hit one of them, another went flying to the ground. they scrambled up and continued towards the building. The person had forgotten about the one that was hit and continued, it had swept itself from the minds of the others too.

A few of the cranks had fallen behind or been shot by me and the amount following was around seven or eight. As I got closer and closer to the person on the ground I noticed it was a boy. I couldn't see his face since it was against the ground, but I still managed to grab the boy from under the arms and pull him.

The cranks were getting closer and closer, but I was closer to the building than they were to me. the people that had run inside had seen the situation and one of them ran out. I noticed the person running and grabbed the hood of my jacket, pulling it over my head. In case if they had a way to reach Janson, I didn't let the person see my face.

The person got closer, I didn't focus on their face. They helped me grab the boy and we carried him inside the building. I pulled out my pistol after we were in and shot the seven cranks that were remaining outside. The cranks fell and the person closed the door.

Once the door was shut, I took a few deep breaths before the pain hit me.

"Shit." I hissed, grabbing my leg.

"Who are you?"

"Why were you following us?"

"What happened to you?"

"What's wrong?"

I was bombarded with questions from all-male voices. I looked back up but couldn't see their faces from the low light, hopefully, they couldn't see mine.

I heard a growl before I could answer any questions. I turned around and a crank ran forward, fortunately, it was stopped by a chained collar around its neck. The group moved towards the middle of the room. I was grabbed by one of the boys and pulled into his chest.

At first, I was shocked, until I had this feeling. It was familiar, the hug.

Another growl occurred and another crank lunged forward, the group shifted once again, and the grip that the boy had on me tightened.

Everything that happened in the next ten minutes was a complete blur. The only thing on my mind was the boys' grip on me. We were walking through the building, being led by a woman named Brenda. I kept my hood on and never got to see the boy's face since he was behind me.

It all felt familiar and was like I knew him. We arrived in a room with a man who looked older and rugged.

After a few minutes, he had grabbed the boy in the front and said we were 'tagged' by Wicked.

As soon as I heard the word Wicked I went into panic mode. The boy that was holding me tried to turn me around once he noticed it, but couldn't. He caught the attention of the other boys and they all started panicking slightly as well.

"What's wrong?" One boy asked.

"I can't go back there," I mumbled.

"What'd the shank say?" Another boy spoke.

I recognized the word but ignored it.

"I can't go back to Wicked. I ran away from there." I confessed.

I finally looked up and made eye contact with the boy that was in the front.

As soon as I saw him, my breathing increased.

"A-Astrid?" He stuttered.

The panic had truly settled in and I was enveloped into darkness as I fainted.

Q: Black and white or full color??

I prefer Black and White, it can show more depth and emotion. But then again, color shows everything, including the feeling, and just shows more. But I like black and white more.
