Hi again, it's me, Ben Tennyson. The last time we met, I was telling you my origin story and we left off on the part where my Grandpa Max was about to explain something to me and my best friends, Kyoka Jiro, and Mina Ashido, but can't due to this giant alien looking robot trashing a nearby camp.
Normally, this isn't something people worry about... but considering that no pro heroes were around at the time... I'd say it was a pretty good time to worry
Max: Now's not the time to worry, kids. We need to get to the RustBucket. There's something there we can use to help
Obviously, we were all confused and concerned but we knew better than to question my grandpa. Once we got inside the RV Grandpa Max immediately started looking for this "helpful thing" he mentioned
Max: Where'd I put it? The glovebox?
He didn't find "it" there, but he did find a button which he pressed in order to reveal something coming out of the dash. Some type of pillar and on top of it rested a watch similar to mine... Well, actually it looked more like a gauntlet but still they were similar

Max: I honestly never thought I'd have to put this back on. Kids, get ready, because what's happening to that camp and what you're about to witness... will change your lives forever
We went back to the camp hiding and hid in some bushes, fortunately no one got hurt and surprisingly the situation hasn't worsened during the time we took... but it still looked pretty bad, the whole time I was thinking "Where are the heroes?"
Kyoka: Grandpa Max, what's going on?
Max: You're about to find out. Ben, follow my lead
He pressed a button on his gauntlet and not even having time to question, I did the same, which apparently activated the watches. The symbol that looked like an hourglass took a diamond shape and showed a silhouette "Cool." Not knowing what to do next, I looked to grandpa who looked like he's about to hit the faceplate. And so, we did
Next thing I know, I turned into a living shard of diamonds, which was weird but kinda cool at the same time, although I couldn't say the same for Grandpa
We gon switch to 3rd person now because at this point, I got tired of typing through another person's perspective. Shit is not for me and I don't understand why everyone else does it
"Grandpa, what happened?" Ben asks
Max responds with "I'm trying to figure that out myself" While turning the dial of his own Omnitrix which just glows blue "Okay, that's new. Fine then" He turns to Ben "Ben, right now you're a Petrosapien. You have the power over crystallized shards, meaning you can shoot them from your body or morph your hands into diamond like weapons, or even summon them from the ground" This is all shocking and admittedly confusing news to Ben, but instead of questioning all of this, he nods and charges right into battle with a determined look on his face
