With a laugh, I exit the penthouse, descend to the first floor of the building from the elevator and walk towards the door.

Jenna's bright red Tesla was sitting in front of the entrance waiting for me and I stood beside the driver side door.

"Jesus, where did you buy this, 2001?!" She exclaimed through laughter.

"I didn't buy it, Markus did. I want to burn it so badly, but he likes it so much so I'm wearing it for him." I huffed with my arms crossed.

"Get in, I got your clothes in the back." She says.

I get in the back seat and begin stripping down and putting on my better clothes.

We arrived at the mall and she examined me when we exited the car.

"Much better." I sigh with a smile.

"Gorgeous. Now we can go."

We linked arms and entered the huge shopping center. I've been friends with Jenna for almost a year and I still gasp when I walk through the doors of this mall. All the wealthy people and the celebrities that live in Newgrounds city shop at this mall.

I was able to meet some of my favorite people coming here!

"So, what's your boyfriend doing today?" Jenna asked as we walked through the large hallways."Going to some of his father's meetings or whatever. I wasn't really listening." I shrugged.

"Why not break up with him if you're not happy?"

"That's the thing. I don't know if I'm not happy. Sometimes, I feel like I just want to leave and move back in with my parents. But part of me says that I'd miss him too much. I enjoy not being nagged by my folks over little things, but I haven't been able to visit them. I don't want them to think I'm cutting them off."

"That sounds fishy to me. Markus might not be as dumb as he looks. Just go visit your family."

I hang my head low and slow my walking pace."(Y/N)?" She asks when she notices my sad expression.

"I can't visit them. The day I moved out, there was a huge argument between us and I don't know if they'd even want me back."

"That sounds like something Markus fed to you." She snapped."Of course they'd want you back home. And if they'd really let some disagreement tear your family apart, my doors are always open. My folks absolutely adore you."

"That's sweet, Jen. But I couldn't burden you guys like that. I'll just stay with Markus until I figure everything out."

"I still say you should call you parents and talk to them. Maybe apologize and see what happens from there." She adds before we arrive at a brand name store.

She was right. I haven't spoken to my parents in six months all because of Markus. I decided then and there that I'd make times to contact them when I got home.

We enjoyed shopping for clothes, makeup, perfume, and various other items that part of me felt guilty for buying.

"This is a lot of bags." I commented.

"Duh, that's what shopping means. Tony!" She called, making a red demon butler appear from thin air."Carry these, please." She dumped all her bags into his arms and urged me to do the same.

"I'm sorry, but these are really heavy. Thank you so much for carrying them for me." I smiled. He smiled bag and nodded.

"No prob, lil lady."

We continued until we couldn't shop anymore and settled down for lunch at the food court. I grabbed Korean food and she got Chipotle.

"Ah, what a day!" She giggled."It's nice out, we should hit the pool later."
